LeoThreads & Crew3: A Great Partnership

Crew3.png

Crew3 was introduced to the LeoFinance on the 14th of February and for the only those with 1k Leo Power and above were given access to the feedback sprint where 10k LEO and 100k Leo Power delegation were put up as prizes for the 2-week period. I was one of those who got in and from the announcement post by @leogrowth, I managed to make it in the top ranks and won a 10k LEO Power delegation which means my vote value will be worth more once I receive the delegation. My LEO curation rewards will in turn increase.

The next Crew3 race will be on 5th April so that gives a lot of time for others to come aboard. There will be a $10k USD in the prize pool and I suppose you don't wanna miss on that, right? So hop on now!

What I Say About the LEO Crew3 Quests

  • They are fun
This I think is an important aspect when it comes to quests. We don't want people to get bored.

  • A mix of tasks
Some are really simple, easy tasks and some need a little effort.**
We do love a challenge so having a mix is good!

  • Community-inclusive.
The fact that the quests include tasks of engaging in various communities around Hive is good. This allow participants to widen their reach and get to know other communities besides where they are already involved in. Some commented they didn't know this or that community existed until they were directed to it by the Crew3 quests.

  • The quests encourage growth and make us expand our network. We get to meet new Hive users and visit other communities which we don't normally go. On a personal experience, it felt awkward at first but become normal afterwards. I even had the courage to invite some of them to LeoThreads which is good because I can also interact with them.

I would say that LeoThreads and Crew3 is a great partnership. They are both fun and they can complement each other. Crew3 gamifies our experience and makes us learn to do things which we normally would not. Makes us discover other areas or communities which we may not even know existed.

Threads on the other hand allows us to say or blurt out things we don't usually write on our long-form contents. It allow us to interact with others better without having to spend minutes reading their content and then thinking about what to say in the comments.

It allows us to be just be without worrying what others might say nor anybody policing us. We gotta be our own police since everything we say are recorded on the blockchain and we don't wanna regret things in the future, lol!

With the polls feature, the experience is heightened. And whilst other features are still to be incorporated and enabled, threads is already a fun place to be.
