My first dollar earned, what I know

Hello friends engaged in corporate, business and personal finance and income. This is the first post in a series of articles I plan to publish on this topic.

Surely all of you know and are familiar with this practice, know its history, its beginnings and its origin, it is possible that a dollar bill is now displayed in your business as part of the reminder of your beginnings as an entrepreneur.

Believe it or not in this globalized world, I personally had never read or heard about this common practice in the United States and other countries.

It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago when a friend mentioned this practice, in relation to a common venture we started online, from which he had the brilliant idea of framing our first dollar earned in a publication in this blockchain.

A little bit of what I know....

When I read your publication this awakened my curiosity and my desire to know more about this matter, this desire for knowledge led me to research on the internet and to be quite honest I did not get the information I wish to have, rather I read the testimonials of some entrepreneurs who decided to capture this traditional practice in different blogs and websites as a testimony of their first earnings in their particular area of investment.

From what I read, according to some authors this practice comes from China or Korea, without knowing for sure in which year it started, however, it became a tradition for new entrepreneurs and represents the tangible testimony of the first fruits of their efforts, the evidence of where and how it all began, the risk involved in that initial investment, the circumstances in which a venture begins, plus all the risks and hopes that surround the start of a business.

It is said that this tradition evolved to other similar practices, since today not only the traditional dollar is framed, but bills of different denominations are placed as a way to attract luck, even bills donated by friends and family are placed as a form of symbolic "payment" that are made the day of the opening of the business.

My personal opinion and my implementation....

When I read about this tradition of many years ago, but which for me is a totally new concept, I really liked the fact of remembering our beginnings, the difficulties and limitations that have to be faced to reach success, so that when this success arrives it does not harm us and we can know how to take care of what cost us a lot of effort, on the one hand and on the other hand keep our humility and our feet on the ground.

For those who read the bible this is not such a new practice, it was what God advised the people of Israel to do once they reached the promise.

Deuteronomy 6:10 When the LORD your God has brought you into the land which He swore to your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give you, into large and goodly cities which you did not build,
Deuteronomy 6:11 and houses full of all good things, which thou hast not filled, and cisterns dug, which thou hast not dug, vineyards and oliveyards, which thou hast not planted, and then thou shalt eat and be satisfied,
Deuteronomy 6:12 Beware that thou forget not the LORD, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

The Lord was telling his people: When they are well, when they have prospered, they should do something that allows them to remember where they were, how they were, what their situation was when all this began. In a way this practice evokes the call that God made to the people.

As I mentioned before, I learned about this practice very recently motivated by the beginning of an online investment project that we are carrying out together with a brother in the faith, an investment that represents a contribution of this brother and his family to our ministry, so, it is not a venture that will benefit a single person but a ministerial group.

Now, this partnership not only allowed the birth of an online investment, but also an offline investment, a small business of breads and sweets that will serve to defray the expenses of this ministry, so I propose in the next publication to leave "Framed" the beginning of this business as an emulation or evolution of the practice "My first dollar earned" only this time it will be recorded as with indelible ink in the unalterable blockchain Hive.

This is the beginning of a successful business.
