CALCULATING BITCOIN HALVING 2024
Hello everyone, how are you feeling today? for days, #Bitcoin held it so strong and it was strong above 30k. I was even thinking it would go below 30k two days ago when the price was about 30,240.
I was reading news from different sources 2 days ago; and I came across an article that said, 'bitcoin may reach 50k before the end of 2023'. It is believed that Bitcoin halving will happen in April 2024. The circle is every 4 years, the first Bitcoin halving happened on November 28, 2021; the second event occurred on July 9, 2016 while the last one occurred May 11, 2020.
There was a prediction that Bitcoin halving would occur in April, 2024 based on the circle. Since the first one happened in November ,2012, the second Bitcoin halving was in July 2016 and the third was in May 2020. It is believed that the months at which it occurs are in descending order, therefore, the next one will proba61bly be April 2024.
There was an interval of 4 months and 19 days (142 days) between the first and second Bitcoin halving; between the 2nd and the third, there was an interval of 59 days which is almost two months.
Crypto analysts believe that there is a probability that the next Bitcoin halving may happen between May and April 2024.
Following the calculation above, I predict that it may happen between April and May 2024.
Since there were 142 days between the first and second; and 59 days from second to third; therefore, there should be 20 or more days between the third and fourth.
STAKING/POWERING UP LEO
Knowing the purpose of hive and Leo power, I should have started powering up my LEO for a long time. Just like hive, the more hive power the more influential you are, that is, the more influence you have over others in the hive ecosystem. If you have a high number of hive powers, such a person can earn more than creators. A voter with hive power has greater effects and allocation of the rewards of a particular post. For instance, if I post an article and a voter with over 500,000 hive power upvotes my article, such a voter with a big number of hive power will have a larger share of a particular post reward than me.
Therefore, the higher your LEO or hive power you have, the more powerful your vote over a comment or post in the hive ecosystem. Such a voter with a higher number of LEO and hive power can determine the fate of a particular post.
If such a voter with a high number of hive power downvotes a particular post, it also has greater effect on a particular hive account, it can reduce reputation on that particular account.
This is the reason I started my journey of powering up my LEO; and I will continue to power up my LEO until I reach my target. A journey of thousands of miles begins with a step.
I powered up 30 LEO this morning and I am hoping to power up more bit-by-bit.

The battle is getting harder for the weak in the Splinterlands more and more. Since last year, the battle to earn has become tough for the weak, I mean small players. I know that I am not the only one lamenting; other small players are also lamenting. It is even harder now to get 20 season rewards these days.
One thing I know for sure is that, to keep exploring Splinterlands, you need to keep updating yourself to the latest Splinterlands update. That is how you can keep going.
I knew my rewards would be too low this season because my SPS is low. I have 2000 SPS which is very low to get something good; and I realized that the best way to get more from this game at this moment is to get more SPS. I made mention of cogent points such as buying more SPS through whatever I earned from the game and engaging more in contests.
I think this will not be enough to get what I want; it is more important to maximizing the following for my profiting:
-Time factors: A good manager is conscious of time. Time is very important to us; it is very important to utilize our time to do something that gives us values.
In the last two weeks I wrote the article, I have not written more than 4 articles while I have a friend who writes a post in a day. I.e. from the day I wrote the article, he had written 12 posts.
If I had stuck to what I had written, I would have written more than 10 posts because it is 13 days now. I have been so lazy to write and play Splinterlands just because I did get like before. The recent development should have been an opportunity for me to work harder. Time is going and it doesn't wait for anyone!
Therefore, it is important for me to consider Time factors.
-Set goals on a daily basis: this is going to work for me. I have to write down what I am going to achieve on a daily basis unfailingly. I have done that before! There was a time I used to write everything I would do in a day on my jotter; and I was able to follow them one after the other.
⚔️⚔️HOW I OVERCOME COUNTERSPELL RULE IN A BATTLE⚔️⚔️
I never imagined that my opponent would come with magic monsters so strong. Three of my opponent monsters were magic monsters of which the rule said that magic monsters take damage when it attacks. One of the magic monsters that can survive is magic monsters with void ability; and if there are 3 or 4, such magic monsters may likely take damage.
This was the reason I did not use magic monsters in this battle. I thought my opponent would do the same by not using magic monsters and that was the reason I protected my back because of sneak monsters. There were many sneak monsters available for the selection while I was making a choice of monsters to use. I thought my opponent used those sneak monsters. I never thought that my opponent would come up with magic monsters and that was the reason I did not use a monster with void ability. Had I known, I would have used a Torhilo the frozen as the first monster and healing ability to support it instead of Silvershield Paladin. I thought my opponent would come up with a bunch of melee monsters.

Melee Mayhem: Melee attack monsters can attack from any position.
Taking sides: Neutral monsters may not be used in battles.
Counterspell: All monsters have magic reflect ability.

Silvershield Paladin
Splinter: Life
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Shield
I never thought my opponent would use magic monsters due to a counterspell rule in this battle. I was expecting melee monsters and that was the reason I Used Silvershield Paladin to reduce damage done by melee monsters.
The moment I saw my opponent's lineup, I knew I had won the battle already.
As we all know, melee monsters are sweet in this kind of battle because they can attack in any position.
Well! I didn't expect Silvershield Paladin to go beyond the second round as a result of three magic monsters in the opponent 's lineup.
Silvershield Paladin was eliminated in the second round of the battle.
Uriel the Purifier
Splinter: Life
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Recharge and Healing
It is not appropriate for Uriel the Purifier to lead the battle because of the recharge ability; due to recharge ability, it used the first round to recharge and the second round to attack. Using this monster in the first position in this kind of battle may be a waste of a monster because it may not have the opportunity to recharge.
There was a battle like this in which I used Uriel the Purifier as the first monster; it was eliminated before it attacked in that particular battle. That was how I lost the battle and I learned my lesson.
Since it can attack in any position, the second position was the best position to place the monster.
After eliminating Silvershield Paladin in the second round, Uriel the Purifier led the battle to victory.
Jared Scar
Splinter: Life
Level: 1⭐
Ability: Bloodlust
Jare Scar's bloodlust ability triggered me to use it. By the time Jared Scar eliminated Mushroom Seer in round 2, its stats increased.
By the time it eliminated Goblin Psychic in round three, its stats increased again which made the monster stronger the more.
In round 4 when Jared Scar eliminated Hunter Jarx, its stats increased more and it became the most powerful monster on my lineup. This ability was what I saw and I knew it would be useful in this battle.
Armosmith
Splinter: Life
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Repair
The repair ability was useful in this battle, the monster kept repairing damaged armor from Uriel the Purifier and Silvershield Knight.
Slivershield Knight
Splinter: Life
Level: 1⭐
Ability: Inspire
As we all know, this kind of battle required a good melee attack. Silvershield Knight was the only monster in life 
Pelacor Conjurer
Splinter: Life
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Flying
Since this monster has a high chance of evading melee and ranged attacks. That was the idea I had which made me place it as the last monster against sneak monsters.
