Finally, we have the Airdrop of $STRD token for all those who had been staking their $EVMOS. Frankly speaking I was looking forwards to this Airdrop of $STRD token. But then was shocked to see what I got as an Airdrop is not even worth ONE Dollar. More about this in the post later. Stride Platform which is a home to liquid staking and is also known as - aka The Liquid Staking Zone; has its Airdrop claim LIVE now for folks who had staked their $EVMOS. Currently the Metamask support for $EVMOS is not support and as staked in tweets for STRD team it is going to be available in the next ~30 days from now. My $EVMOS Stake...
I have close to 1K+ $EVMOS staked which is worth $350 and this get me close to 2+ $EVMOS daily. At the moment I am redirecting all the staked $EVMOS rewards back to the staking pool, considering the low price of $EVMOS. Having staked 1K+ $EVMOS, I was of the belief that I would be getting some good amount of $STRD Airdrop tokens. And here is the surprise, which you will not believe it.
$STRD Airdrop to Me just 0.27 tokens
After having performed all the steps to claim the Airdrop - I just got 0.27 $STRD tokens.. You can see from the above image, I had to literary perform 5 steps to claim this worthless Airdrop in the history. It would have been better off not giving the Airdrop. I saw people commenting on twitter that they got a very less $STRD tokens. But then I was thinking that they would have staked bare to minimum $EVMOS that is 200.
In my case as having staked more than 1K+ $EVMOS also we get an Airdrop which is fractions of a token and not even worth a dollar. I would still recommend to go checkout how much $STRD you got incase you had a larger pie of $EVMOS staked. Maybe you get lucky with the Airdrop and receive a handsome amount of $STRD tokens. The token is currently trading close to a dollar, so incase if you get 5 or more than that you directly get that FREE money which you can swap on Osmosis for any of your favorite coin.
My $STRD earnings to $ATOM
Anyways though $STRD let me down on the Airdrop part that is a separate story. But I am still invested in the coin from a long time now, you can say for almost 3 to 4 months now. On a daily basis from different pool that I am invested into like $ATOM - stATOM on Osmosis.Zone pool #803 and $EVMOS - $stEVMOS pool #992 get me decent returns, where I do get 2 $STRD tokens daily. These return I am converting to $ATOM on a daily basis, that's part of my strategy on the Cosmos eco system. So altogether though the experience with $STRD Airdrop for me has been bad. But still, I am not going away my investment in the $STRD token. Will continue to remain invested and and the plan is to HODL $STRD tokens for a while, we are yet to see its full potential as Liquid staking is going to be the Next big thing rather it is already making big strides...cheers
