We keep on brainstorming name ideas for our Leoverse. We have been known as Leofinance for some time now. So we really want a more suitable brand which aligns with our beliefs and vision as a people and community. So Here I came up with another name suggestion - the second one - which I believe worth the consideration of our Leo team.
Unlimithird - another great rebrand for Leofinance
I have been thinking about another suggestion for our new name. And this word Unlimithird really came to my mind. Hence this is my second suggestion. Like I did in the previous one, I will still explain the reasons behind my selection. So consider the following 3 reasons:
- Meaning: I am a fan of forming words off another word that is popular and full of meaning. The word Unlimithird is actually a re-written form of Umlimited. Just as you probably know, the word unlimited simple conveys the idea of existing without boundaries or limits. It conveys the thought of continuous growth and expansion. I think, this greatly explains what Leofinance community has been all about.
Leofinance as a community has continued to grow with its vision of becoming the most popular web3 social network. We have created records, Dapps and engagement opportunities unlike it was previously known. With more than 1000 MAU, Leofinance continues to grow and expand without limits as it where.
The wed Unlimithird ended with "third". I deliberately did it to reflect another dimension of the Leo project. Third their for me signifies "web". Yes, Leofinance has been a pioneer of web3 platforms in the crypto space. We have created a platform where censorship nearly does not exist and freedom of expression is held to the highest esteem. Including the third in the naming convention serves to remind the viewer that Unlimithird has championed and continues to champion all that any web3 platform should represent.
- UNiqueness: The word unlimited is very unique and is not so common to find. I even did a detailed Google search and did not see any word that comes close to it in form or meaning.
As a community, Leofinance is completely unique in its approach towards everything. For one thing, this community tries to be user-centric, putting the end-user at the center of its decision making and product designs. A case in point is the gradually development of threads and the new UI. It took a lot of time to arrive at this stage. Interestingly, the team continued to engage with the community and allow them test features and recommend things to add or remove. This is just an example of how unique Leofinance as a community is.
So it should come as no surprise that the new brand name to represent this great project should be unique both in meaning and motivation.
Availability: I checked the word to know if the domain name has been registered by any entity. Interestingly, it has not. Ofcourse that gives credence to its uniqueness. All popular domain name extensions of the name are very much available for registration. It is free to use and if the Leo team should adopt this name, then we will have no issues registering the domain name.
Easy to Remember: One great thing about basing new names off something that is popular is because people will always find it easy to remember and prononuce. Unlimithird is based off unlimited and people would have any difficulties pronouncing the name. Of course, everything involved in the name are all English. So I believe the name is both easy to remember and simple to pronounce.
Conclusion
I really wish the leo team should find reasons to consider the word I suggested. Unlimithird fits the vision, motivation and drive behind the Leo finance community and project. We can always
