Step 1: Basic Blockchain & Crypto Terms** Blockchain A decentralized digital ledger that records transactions across many computers.

Cryptocurrency Digital or virtual currency secured by cryptography (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).

Bitcoin (BTC) The first and most well-known cryptocurrency.

Altcoin Any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin).
Token** A digital asset built on an existing blockchain (e.g., ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum).

Step 2: Wallet & Security Terms**
WalletA digital tool to store, send, and receive crypto (Hot wallet = online, Cold wallet = offline).

Private Key A secret code that allows access to your crypto (never share it!).
Public Key/Address– A shareable wallet address to receive crypto.

Seed Phrase A backup phrase (usually 12-24 words) to restore a wallet.

Step 3: Trading & Investment Terms**
Exchange A platform to buy, sell, and trade crypto (e.g., Binance, Coinbase).

Fiat Traditional government-issued currency (e.g., USD, EUR).

Market Cap Total value of a cryptocurrency (Price × Circulating Supply).
