I’ve been talking about effort lately, which is one of the most important things in life and if you have been reading my post for the past few days you will realize how effort is very important but we need more effort to be successful. Don’t get me wrong, effort is the number one thing that you need but you need to apply your effort in a very good way for you to be successful because if you are applying your effort in the wrong project and also at the wrong time, you might not be getting the desired result.
most people apply effort in the wrong place and we cannot blame everybody for this sometimes we are just gambling on uncertainty simply because we don’t know what we can do to be successful, no one knows tomorrow. we believe by the time we try things around us or what people are doing to be successful we will get a result and effort doesn’t work like that sometimes. you have to apply effort to things that are designed to favor you and also things that are working at the moment.
Follow the design system
some people are very stubborn and they just love to stick with the old ways which are not bad but when it comes to success, you might be putting your efforts into things that are not productive like they used to be, it might make you some money but what you realize is that most people that are putting less effort into trending things are making more money than you because you are not focusing on the things that are much more appreciated at the moment you are focused on the things of the old.
A perfect example of this is farming, most people here in Africa have so many misconceptions about farming simply because their great-grandfathers were into farming and they have told them that farming is not good and that is why they sent their father to school. People are going back into farming because they realize that there are better ways to approach farming which generates a lot of money. if you practice farming the old way, you will put more effort and get little or no results but if we practice modern-day farming with less effort and technology you will make a lot of money.
Information is what makes the difference
it is important to know that information is very powerful not only that it can make our journey easier, but It can also be a multiplier for our efforts. sometimes we can be putting effort into outdated things and what these do is that it makes our efforts look as if we are not doing enough simply because the world population is not paying well for where we are directing our efforts. Sometimes all we need is good information to take us from nothing to something.
we must seek information to know where to apply our effort because sometimes the only difference between success and failure is information. Some people are more successful than others because they have better information which helps them to maximize their efforts. consider seeking information before making an effort. Not everything you see deserves an effort because some things can just be a waste of time.
