I think I understand you @bala41288 , since I started Splinterlands this year I realized that the old monsters are not as spectacular as the newly released ones, it is much easier to get a Xenith Monk with the healing ability and a decent amount of maximum health at a low cost than to prefer to use ALPHA and BETA monsters with lower but more expensive stats, maybe I am wrong, but, which monster could match in comparison with the same level and cost of other versions?
