Lahaina Maui Fire Update #3

Lahaina Maui has burned down

Lahaina Maui, a coastal town on the island of Maui in the Hawaiian Island Chain of islands has burned down.

A few days ago, a forest fire, which reportedly was intensified by high winds from a hurricane raged across south western Maui and burned the town to the ground overnight.

The fire reported reached the town around 4PM, and initial reports were that it had been contained. But overnight the town was engulfed in flames and the morning light revealed it had burned to the ground.

Ironically 3 days later parts of the town are still on fire.

Currently this town of approximately 10,000 people is completely without basic necessities like electricity, drinkable running water and communications, as the telephone, cell phones and internet system is down.
911 is operating via a text based system, but Police and Fire are indundated with a call backlog.

Current death toll is around 83
Currently 1200 people are know to be in shelters.
Currently 1701 buildings have been declared destroyed by local government.
The Hawaii National Guard has deployed 123 tropops to the area.
The Governor has visited the area and declared a Disaster Emergency
The President has not yet visited, nor declared a Federal Emergency.
The wearabouts of thousands is currently unknown due to a lack of communication.
Requests to Elon Musk have been made for Start Link satelite internet to facilitate communications, but the response is unknown at this time.

Some on the internet are claiming Direct Energy Weapons were used to depopulate the town.

It's really to soon people.

Our dead are still in the burned down houses, and we haven't had a chance to bury their bones.
