The ENDLESS Journey to 25k・My Hive Goals for 12 June 2023 (And SBI Giveaway!)

Greetings, true believers! Now if you remember well and actually pay attention to what I write in these posts, I promised 5 SBI split up among all commenters last week. We only had three comments on last week's post, so you can guess on the results. I'll talk of who wins them and show proof at the end of the post, so stay tuned!

But first, let's dive into progress on my Hive goals for the past week, as well as look at a few things of note in the Hive ecosystem.

~ Hive ~

As you all should know by now, my current goal is 25k Hive. Really, this is kind of a temporary stepping stone, because after hitting 25k I have no intention of slowing down. The next goal will probably be 50k. Hmm.. or maybe 55k or whatever it is to reach Orca level now. Well, that's something to worry about later. 25k is the goal for now!

This past week I made 131.900, bringing me to 15,586.40 total Hive Power. Another kind of average week. That daily take represents a little over half of my Hive earnings. All the Hive gets powered up automatically, then I've been converting my HBD payout to Hive and using 5 daily to power-up as well. Haven't missed any days yet on that daily power-up, so I'm still in the running for HPUM!

That's 62.3% of my goal!

Using the completely arbitrary end date of the first of next year that means I need to be making a total of 46.4 Hive per day. Man, that number just keeps getting higher... which shows I'm not making enough to hit that goal. Oh well. The amount of Hive I get from curation has been going up all year, but my post upvotes average has remained the same all year. Hmmm. Someday you whales and orcas are going to start upvoting me! Will that day be today....? (spoilers: probably not)

Well that does it for my goals. But let's talk about some Hive ecosystem things of interest.

~ DailyDab ~

You may remember me talking about this last week. It is @silverstackeruk's latest project, something like a super powered EDS. See the details here. It works something like this:

The presale is going on from a week ago until June 24th. Actually we are into presale 2 now. Folks who bought in the first presale will receive the tokens before people who buy in the second presale, giving them a few bonus days of mining before all the rest join in.

I bought a few so far. I'm trying to shift around assets to be able to afford more before the presale ends. If you enjoyed EDS, SPI, or otherwise plan on being on Hive longterm, you might also consider picking some up. They are 1 hive each. And hey, Hive is down to 30 cents, so you can get them cheap now!

~ Cine ~

And then there's CINE. @raymondspeaks keeps telling us he has huge plans for it, so buy it now. @ecoinstant wrote a post recently Don't sleep on CINE for a good read on the possible value of this token.

It's cheap now! Perfect buying opportunity. I have been picking up Cine here and there for sometime and recently bought a bigger chunk. Somehow I ended up at #22 on the richlist. To better make use of it while waiting for Ray to make me rich, I set up @dbooster.cine to curate CineTV posts. So if nothing else, go post there and you might get an upvote from me.

Two more things. First another little preview for my friends at #silvergoldstackers, then the SBI winnings.

Silver!

I did have two arrivals this week. I already own both of these, so these are copies, but I got them for a good price.

The ¥100 I got off Yahoo Auctions, which is far far far more popular than Ebay in Japan. I only paid ¥500 for it so I thought that was a deal. I have no idea what the 78, 100, and 3x someone wrote along the corners mean. The 41, 四十一, and 1966 all mean, well, 1966. The rest will remain a mystery I suppose.

The mercury dime I got from Ebay, from a seller in the Philippines. I got it for $2.50 with a dollar shipping, which I also thought wasn't too bad.

The big dragon coin is one I had before. I show it only because I already wrote up and scheduled a post with it for a few days from now. Look forward to that!

SBI

With all that out of the way, let's dive into the SBI rewards for last week's post. I had three comments from @kerrislravenhill @pocketechange @trumpman. Rather than give two people 2 SBI and one person only 1, I decided to give each person 2 SBI. Thanks for the engagement, guys!

Same deal for the post, by the way. I have 5 SBI to give away and will split it up among the commenters. So give me a good comment!!

And forward we go! It was a strong week. Let's see how this coming one goes!
