The Bitcoin Standard

So I was watching a recent interview with Michael Saylor and he completely crushed it. In the interview he touched upon various false narratives concerning Bitcoin. Many of these narratives are alluding to Bitcoin mining being bad for the environment. He also voiced an opinion regarding the “has been” comedian.

It’s a great interview and I think everyone in the community should watch. Google it since I don’t like to post links. 🥸 Yet, as someone who sees the bigger Bitcoin picture Saylor is astute. Frankly, he gets it.

Most people seem to look at the shorter time horizon. Saylor is taking the longer term perspective. And I think anyone who is involved in cryptocurrency should do the same. Bitcoin is about to make huge strides in the coming years.

Saylor believes a Bitcoin standard is imminent. He even suggest some nation states begin to purchase and hold BTC in reserves. In turn, many of these nations can issue currency with the backing of BTC. Many would be wise to listen to this advise.

While many central banks are tying to implement CBDC’s they are missing the fundamental truth. Confidence is the name of the game. Once it is lost it will be lost forever. Fiat systems eventually fail.

However, those who are ahead of the curve can create a largesse for their citizens. Holding on to some BTC in reserve would be akin to buying insurance. Or having a store house of food before the coming famine. The market will speak.

It is only a matter of time before the central banking bluff is called upon. Many market participants will continue BTC acquisition. Saylor also believes Google and Apple will have their hand forced into BTC. This will all be in the name of whoever stakes first wins.

I personally believe there will come a time where the Bitcoin standard is embraced. This will not happen by choice but by necessity. Many of the money players enjoy the monopoly they currently posses. This monopoly power however is now coming into question.

Many still don’t see the big picture. They are reactionary like politicians. My advise is to always listen to those who know what they speak of. Wisdom comes from having an open mind.

Suffice it say I was very impressed with Saylor. He presented his position on Bitcoin in a simplistic manner. With all the media Bitcoin hate it was good to hear some real knowledge. “The Bitcoin Standard” Be ready.. :)
