Nayib Bukele, CEO of El Salvador, and one of the more public champions of Bitcoin, has been accumulating Bitcoin for his country.
Starting in September 2021, Bukele has bought 2'301 BTC at a total cost of $101 million for an average price of $43'865.
These investments amount to a loss of $31,6 million at the current Bitcoin price of $30'144.
A loss of 31% isn't too bad, considering the state of the current crypto market.
Bitcoin itself fell 35% since he started cost averaging into BTC.
