Today's Social Media Management goes beyond merely creating of content and posting on a page because there is more to it than that and every person going into that side of the world should atlist understand that and pin it in mind.
If that's all that's required, then everyone on Facebooks or other social's would be a social media manager. If Social Media Management is solely about writing content, designing quotes, videos, and posting on a Facebook page, then everyone should be able to do it.
Let that sink in because these days alot of people make that mistake and end up struggling on their way to becoming a great social media manager because it lacks basic sketching and foundations to build it from the very scratch as it should be.
It is more like putting on a foundation of a strong building that is meant to last in generations to come, and that can only be achieved by building a solid and strong foundation.
The critical aspect of social media management is growth. How can you claim to be a social media manager, managing a Facebook page for 6-10 months, and only receiving 2 likes, zero comments, and no shares? Except engagement is not the metric for the success of the account, you must learn to seek and retain attention.
Stop attending classes where they continuously teach you that all you need to do as a social media manager is create content and post, or create content and post at specific times using an automated system. That's not the idea of social media management.

Get results.
Make the metrics speak for themselves and stop parading as a social media manager when all you know how to do is create content and post on a page. Learn the rules of social engagement, and that will help you.
