Best Metaverse Other Than Sandbox & Decentraland
The metaverse really is the wild west right now. It reminds me of the dawn of the internet when everyone slammed stuff up and the getting was good. With limited competition anyone could posts some half decent content and get a ton of traffic to it it was wild!
Well to be honest with you the metaverse isn't much different. These worlds and lands you have to realize are more like the multiverse or parallel universes as they don't connect with each other and all run on some type of blockchain and their own worlds. It's pretty crazy when you think about it.
For me a real metaverse would be a single huge platform that interacted and worked with all blockchain types and the asset could easily be transferred between blockchains. I believe that is eventually where we will get but it's just not here yet.
The Current Starts
Some of the big stars right now in the metaverse are Sandbox and Decentraland.
SAND now ranks #38 in market cap with a price of $3.62 which runs on sandbox.game.
MANA ranks #35 in market cap with a price of $2.96 which runs decentraland.org
We have seen some big names pick up land and land going for millions of dollars. I get it, these worlds have very real possibilities to become something amazing. Since DAOs will be a big thing this year it kind of makes sense that this should continue to grow and it's done well. However just because they are towards the first at doing something doesn't mean they are the best. In many cases in terms of business you let your competition go first, make the expensive and business crushing mistakes and then pick up and make it better which means you don't have to go through all of that.
Other Metaverses
Many new metaverses are starting to come online. Not only because of the success of the current ones but also because of lessons learned, general growth and yes of course since the metaverse is build with graphic engines and tech that will continue to evolve.
First up Wilder World which is currently trading at $1.86 will be running on unreal engine 5 which honestly is freakin beautiful graphics wise which I personally feel will be a make or break for some of these metaverses as they continue to grow.
I mean just take a look at this house in their metaverse.

When you think about it it's actully really freakin cool. You OWN all of these assets, the cards, the cloths you wear, the house and so forth all in a digital world. It seriously reminds me a bit of free guy the movie lol
Next up is Gala Games which I thought about myself for the longest time to buy into and run a node but for some reason didn't pull the trigger. Kicking myself in the butt now lol but this metaverse looks like one of those sizable projects that will continue to grow with games and development. GALA ranks #58 on the market cap and valued at $0.29 which means it would cost you nearly $100,000 now to run one.
There are others but I'm not so big on them but will leave a mention.
Metaverse Boson Portal takes buying real world assets and also get a metaverse version of it and Bloktopia which is a skyscraper VR that is 21 levels to act as a central hub for the 21 million bitcoin. Those two personally I'm not big on but who knows I might just not know enough about them.
