I have often had to observe the life of rooks and ravens, they often lived and ran their "household" next to magpies and jackdaws, they found some common interests, but competed in some ways, but yesterday I observed a strange picture.
I heard the cry of many magpies outside the window and looked out the window.
A few magpies and a large black bird were sitting on the edge of the roof of a multi-story building.
This bird looked like a large raven, or rook, but not an eagle.
This bird was pecking at something at its feet, like this rook, which I photographed earlier.
I went to get the camera, but while I was adjusting the lens, I only managed to see that the reason for the magpies' anxiety was that this raven had torn apart their fellow, the magpie.
In an instant, he took off, and in his beak he held prey in the form of a magpie.
