Apparently, most of the people on hive are rewards driven, originally, the journey has always been about getting paid, so in a way, many see it as a job, but many actually fail to realise that to actually get paid doing a job, you must first of all; show up
Showing up is a lot of work, that includes creating contents whether via blog posts or comments, many also fail to realise that creating contents isn't limited to the blog posts, one's engagements, the quality or value he spreads through comments are equally contents, I mean if I'm being honest, most comments are longer than actual posts, and best part is how much value there is in them.
The reason why most people won't or can't get the best of hive is because they ignore the social part and care more about the rewards, but truth be told, to earn a reward, you have to do some work, and around here, creating content is the job, and that's a lot of work that requires effort built into time with all consistency. Trust me when I say the social aspects of hive is much better than the rewards, you could be earning but barely notice it. I honestly never knew how much I was earning a month or whatever until I discovered tools like hivestats.io and frontends like www.proofofbrain.blog ( which sums up most of the rewards and displays its value in dollars). Aside from that, I just knew my rants and bants, nothing more, so if I came on and discovered some payouts, then oh my, I may as well make use of it, don't you think?

So, I'm guessing by now you know I rarely use emojis, but if I did, this must have cracked me up. I personally believe this is one of the greatest reward I've received being on hive so far. Laughing is the best medicine whether you're sick or not right ? So I got to laugh for free, so I got medicines for free, and I know how much xanax costs( I'm kidding, I don't). But still, you get my point. There's so much to crack a frown, and damn it, this was pretty dark and it's such a great line that if it were coming from a hive hater, it would have been funnier, lol…
