I have apps on my HiveBlocks list that I don't use anymore, but at some point in the past I granted a posting key.
Personally, I was never able to choose my favorite HIVE blogging platform, so I use them interchangeably.
I like to test apps, so eventually I end up with more on my granted list then it is necessary.
For new users, this can be a bit of a problem. For long-term contributors this can be a good reminder how to do it easily.
Where can you see that posting authority?
Go to
https://hiveblocks.com/@your-username
and scroll down until you see in the left sidebar Authorities and Posting.
There is a list of apps that are granted posting privileges from your account.
For the sake of safety, the best practice is to have only apps you use daily on that list.
Any old, unused, or delipidated expired apps should be removed.
How?
Easy.
https://hivesigner.com/revoke/@app-name
Paste the app name you wish to remove like that and hit continue. The hive signer will remove a posting authority from the said application.
Example of how to remove a posting authority
This link will take you to the screen below and by clicking Continue a posting authority will be removed from that app.
Travelfeed is fine, I just don't use it these days.
