All this can be appreciated in this telenovela that captivates from the first chapter.

Es una novela basada en la vida de Enrique de Martino (Fernando Colunga) que por pensar en el poder y obtener riqueza sin pensar en las consecuencias hace un pacto con un demonio el cual manifiesta su presencia a través de una pintura, y le da toda la riqueza posible, dando lo más preciado que tiene, así como acumular seguidores y crecer como un monarca que lidera a los hijos de Bael, el cual así se llama el demonio.
Al principio la vida de Enrique parece perfecta, con lujos, dinero por doquier, dominio de varias empresas entre ellas bancos, lo cual lo hace el soltero más codiciado, apoyado por su mano derecha Gerardo (Julián Gil), con dos hijos herederos, los cuales deben aprender de como creo su fortuna, sin embargo, solo uno Jorge de Martino (Adrián Di Monto) es quien acepta y desea ese poder, en cambio Raúl de Martino (Julio Vallado) lo repudia, y quiere que el alma de su padre y hermano sean salvadas, a través de la iglesia con apoyo del padre Cayetano (Alejandro Calva) busquen la manera de conseguirlo.
Pero a medida que esto avanza Enrique conocerá a Beatriz Almazán (Marlene Favela) quien es una mujer empoderada, que trabaja a sol y a sombra para sacar a sus dos hijos Vicky (Sofía Castro) y Juanito (Kaled Acab) sola solo con el apoyo de su tía Nuria (Jacqueline Andere) quien la apoyara y guiara a los brazos de Enrique, sin saber a lo que se enfrentará más adelante, sin embargo, se vuelve en una oportunidad para Beatriz de crecer, de que sus hijos tengan una figura paterna y de que ella tenga al fin el amor de su vida.
Pero como todo en la vida nada es perfecto, y para una mujer tan católica como Beatriz el estar con un hombre que hizo un pacto con un demonio la pondrá a prueba no solo en su fe sino en la capacidad para llevar la situación y si es posible salvador de ese maleficio. Es una novela poco común a lo que estoy acostumbrada a ver, en definitiva, temas de demonios lo había visto en series o películas, pero en una novela no, así que la manera en cómo lo enfocan, la posibilidad de que el amor pueda salvador o al menos curar su alma lo hace real ya que siempre se ha dicho que el bien puede ganar si hay amor, pero la cuestión es si ¿vale salvar la vida alguien que se atrevió a vender su alma? Todo eso lo pueden apreciar en esta telenovela que cautiva desde el primer capítulo.
