The Blair Witch Project (1999, dir. Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez)
Almost everyone know about this movie, even if they didn't watch it. The Blair Witch Project (along with The Last Broadcast) rediscovered and popularised the found footage genre - even though it wasn't the first horror to use ff convention. Do I recommend watching it? Yes. And no. TBWP is unfortunately utterly boring and worth watching only due to historical significance - decisions made by protagonists are stiupid and small budget makes the movie quite miserable. You can still have fun watching it, but yeah, be advised.
