Money Heist

Hello.

Welcome to my blog.

Yesterday, September 3rd was the Netflix premiere of the action series Money Heist. For the past two years, this series has had me completely hooked on it because for me it has almost everything, action, adventure, romance, great script, beautiful locations, tackles social issues, and also has a wonderful soundtrack.

Money Heist (Spanish: La casa de Papel, "The House of Paper") is a Spanish heist crime drama television series created by Álex Pina. The series traces two long-prepared heists led by the Professor (Álvaro Morte), one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain told from the perspective of one of the robbers, Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó). The narrative is told in a real-time-like fashion and relies on flashbacks, time-jumps, hidden character motivations, and an unreliable narrator for complexity. Source

The last season was divided into two parts, with the first one premiering yesterday and the next one on December 3. The good thing is that you can watch all the episodes at once and not wait to watch it every week, this is something I loved. Each part consists of 5 episodes and an equally poetic behind-the-scenes. The Spanish film style is one of my favorites.

I ended up crying again while watching it because I'm sorry, I empathized with the thieves and I guess that was the goal, of the producers. Of course, I can't say the reason for my sadness because it would be making spoilers. If you have some free time to make a marathon with this series, I think you won't regret it.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

With love,

Rima.

Hola.

Bienvenidos a mi blog.

Rima.
