Hola a todos, cinéfilos y amantes de la tv, esta vez no voy a hablar de series asiáticas las cuales son mis favoritas, sino sobre una serie que me llamo lo atención y que quiero que salga ya la segunda temporada para hacer maratón y verla completa. Sombra y hueso tiene muchos elementos que aunque son un poco predictivos como el hecho que de que haya una chica super poderosa que no conocía que tuviese esos poderes y que de pronto descubre que es la última esperanza para la humanidad, también tiene otras cosas que terminan atrapando y querer terminarla de ver, como lo son las locaciones distopicas y elementos imaginativos de la historia que nos cuentan, sin mencionar los efectos especiales que son la cereza del pastel para darnos una serie que promete y mucho.
Hello everyone, movie buffs and TV lovers, this time I am not going to talk about Asian series which are my favorites, but about a series that caught my attention and that I want the second one to come out already season to do marathon and see it complete. Shadow and bone has many elements that although they are a bit predictive like the fact that there is a super powerful girl who did not know who had those powers and who suddenly discovers that she is the last hope for humanity, it also has other things that end capturing and wanting to finish watching it, as are the dystopian locations and imaginative elements of the story that they tell us, not to mention the special effects that are the icing on the cake to give us a series that promises a lot.
Sinopsis
Sombra y huesos es una serie reciente de Netflix que fue estrenada el 23 de abril del 2021, anunciado ya una segunda temporada en junio de 2021. Y nos cuenta la historia de Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) una huérfana con ascendencia shu, la cual debido a su origen es rechazada por las personas a su alrededor a excepción de su mejor amigo de la infancia Malyen Oretsev (Archie Renaux). Al crecer ella y su mejor amigo Mal se enlistan en el ejército, Mal como soldado del primer ejército y Alina como cartógrafa del mismo. Los dos viven en un país dividido por una gran oscuridad en el que habitan monstruos que matan a cualquier ser viviente que la atraviesa. Debido a la ubicación de esta oscuridad, el ejército se ve obligado a atravesarla para transportar recursos de un lado del país al otro.
En uno de los viajes, Mal es designado a ser uno de los tripulantes de la embarcación que atravesará la oscuridad, significando así una muerte casi segura para el joven, por lo que Alina decide hacer lo posible para también ser asignada a la misión de atravesar la oscuridad, lo cual logra al quemar todos los mapas que indican el camino por donde deben transitar. En mitad del viaje comienzan a ser atacados por las criaturas que habitan en la oscuridad y al ser atrapada Alina descubre que tiene el poder de invocar al sol, lo cual no existe en esa tierra, por lo cual al esparcirse el rumor de lo que sucedió, Alina se convierte en una persona codiciada por todos ya que si la tienen bajo su control pueden controlar la sombra e igual el país.
Synopsis
Shadow and Bones is a recent Netflix series that premiered on April 23, 2021, with a second season already announced in June 2021. Opinión
Dividida en 8 episodios la primera temporada, nos deja con ganas de querer un poco más para saber cómo continuará esta historial. Los poderes que tienen los Grisha me hacen recordar un poco a la serie animada avatar, donde puede controlar el aire, el fuego y el agua, aunque también hay otros poderes como controlar el dolor, o cosas meramente estéticas. Las escenas dentro de la oscuridad son plausibles al incorporar elementos de suspenso y aventura, resaltando los colores que utilizaron en la producción de la misma. Por otro lado el vestuario estuvo hermoso, desde las vestimentas de los Grisha hasta las vestimentas que usaron los ladrones y asesinos. Esta serie como lo dije antes promete mucho, solo queda esperar a la segunda temporada para ver qué curso tomara la historia y si seguirán la adaptación de los libros de Leigh Bardugo o tomaran otro camino. Opinion
The first season, divided into 8 episodes, leaves us wanting a little more to know how this story will continue. The powers that the Grisha have remind me a bit of the avatar animated series, where they can control air, fire and water, although there are also other powers such as controlling pain, or merely aesthetic things. The scenes in the dark are plausible by incorporating elements of suspense and adventure, highlighting the colors used in its production. On the other hand, the costumes were beautiful, from the clothes of the Grisha to the clothes used by thieves and murderers. This series, as I said before, promises a lot, we just have to wait for the second season to see what course the story will take and if they will follow the adaptation of Leigh Bardugo's books or take another path.
