Hola a toda la gente que hace especial con sus publicaciones a la comunidad de #MoviesAndTVShows. Desde hace unos cuantos días atrás tenía muchas ganas de hacer una reseña de esta película llamada Awake o como se conoce en español: Bajo Anestesia o Despierto.

La película es algo vieja, fue estrenada en el 2007 y ésta resultó ser la quinta vez que la veo. Lamentablemente en los canales de Streaming de Venezuela como Netflix, Amazon Prime o HBO Max no la tienen en su repertorio, así que tuve que buscar otros medios en línea, por eso les dejo en enlace si quieren verla.
La sinopsis, suelo tomarla de la página que más me gusta relacionada con el Cine, y es SensaCine, la cual dice lo siguiente:
El joven multimillonario Clay Beresford debe someterse a un trasplante de corazón, y confía en su mejor amigo, el prestigioso doctor Jack Harper, para llevar a cabo la operación. Sin embargo, estando en la mesa de operaciones, el joven recobra el conocimiento y toma conciencia de su situación, pero paralizado y privado de sus sentidos, por lo que no puede avisar al cirujano. Su esposa Sam, por su parte, deberá luchar contra sus propios demonios para poner fin al drama del que están siendo víctimas y tomará decisiones que determinarán el futuro de ambos.
Cabe destacar que la película es de suspenso, drama y según leí por allí, también la catalogan como de ciencia ficción aunque ésto último no lo considero así ya que existen personas que han experimentado situaciones como la del protagonista.

Bueno cuando la película fue estrenada en el 2007, decidí ver la pelicula porque soy fan de Jessica Alba, quien últimamente tengo tiempo sin ver en la gran pantalla y extraño sus películas. Sin embargo, quise ver de nuevo este film para ver un poco más del actor Hayden Christensen después de verlo nuevamente actuando en la serie de Ahsoka (parte de la saga de Star Wars) estrenada en Disney en el mes de agosto.
Además también contamos con la actuación de otro actor que ha estado más activo que los anteriores en la pantalla grande, es el actor conocido como Terrence Howard, pero creo que él es más de series que películas. Honestamente no sé, sólo sé que es un excelente actor asi como sus colegas nombrados anteriormente.
𝕆𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝔾𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕝
Para mí esta película debería ser un clásico y por lo que pude leer de la página de donde he tomado las fotos, no le dan una puntuación tan alta basada en 5 estrellas, lo que se me hace algo extraño ya que tiene muy buena trama, atrapa desde el principio con la historia de romance prohibido y el final es totalmente inesperado.
El protagonista de la película Hayden Christensen que interpreta a Clay, nos muestra una entrega increíble con el personaje ya que nos transmite las escenas de fuerte dolor durante la operación. Y aunque la vi hace tiempo y varias veces, aún se me pone la piel de gallina en esas escenas.
Yo le doy una puntuación de 8/10 y la recomiendo al 100% si eres de los que te gusta el género de suspenso y drama. Definitivamente la tengo en mi lista de películas favoritas para ver de nuevo y me hubiera gustado ver más películas con este actor, quien se alejó de las cámaras por sufrir rechazo de los fans de Star Wars al interpretar a Darth Vader en las 3 primeras películas de la saga que se hicieron después de las más viejas.

The star of the movie Hayden Christensen who interprets Clay, shows us an incredible delivery of the character as he conveys the scenes of severe pain during the operation. And even though I saw it a long time ago and several times, I still get goosebumps in those scenes.
I give it a score of 8/10 and recommend it 100% if you like suspense and drama. I have it on my list of favorite movies to watch again and I would have liked to see more movies with this actor, who stayed away from the cameras for suffering rejection from Star Wars fans when he played Darth Vader in the first 3 movies of the saga that were made after the older ones.
