Un abrazo a toda la fanaticada cinéfila de #hive. Siguiendo la onda del género del #terror, del #suspenso y de lo #paranornal, para los amantes de estas fabulosas #peliculas traemos la inquietante trama de #PresenciasDelMal, la cual es una adaptación de la novela The Turn of the Screw del autor Henry James. Recordemos que de esta novela ya se han hecho dos adaptaciones anteriores, en la cinta **Los inocentes** de 1961, y en 2001 con el nombre de **Los Otros** la cual fue protagonizada por Nicole Kidman. Ahora la directora nos trae a colación esta versión, que para muchos pudiera estar entre la frontera del terror o la demencia, bueno todo depende del cristal conque se mire. Lo cierto es que la trama en verdad es inquietante, pero para ser una película de terror no se refleja ningún aspecto de ese tipo para dejarnos atrapar y generar ese sentimiento de temor. Por otro lado con respecto a las actuaciones la protagonista Mackenzie Davis, la misma que participó en Terminator Destino Oculto, tubo una considerable actuación demostrando una interpretación coherente de su personaje. Otro punto fuerte fue la actuación de Finn Wolfhard cuyo talento más allá de la serie de Netflix Stranger Things. También debemos resaltar la ambientación referida al bosque, la mansión con sus pasajes escalofriantes, y los distintos escenarios que por lo menos en algún momento te erizan la piel. El filme es entretenido y se deja ver por la tensión que sientes de lo que puede o no suceder.

Desde mi punto de vista el filme carece del verdadero sentido del terror, y aunque sucedieron apariciones fantasmales y hechos paranormales, más bien veo la película como un juego psicológico. ¿Realmente todos los hechos implicados sucedieron?, ¿realmente Kate era una simple maestra que llamaron para atender a los dos niños?, o formaba parte de la familia y en su locura se imaginó todo. O peor aun, Kate es realmente producto de la imaginación de Darla o que Kate es Darla o que, a lo mejor, Kate pudiera ser la madre de los niños que luego de ser abusada por su esposo se volvió loca; o que Jessel era realmente la madre de los niños y asesinó a su marido quedando perturbada mentalmente terminando en un hospital psiquiátrico. En fin esta película es algo ambigua y abierta, y para quien haya leído el libro, el final del filme refleja distintas vertientes que dan cabida a variados análisis donde hay dudas entre la verdad de los hechos o la demencia de la protagonista. Solo debes verla y cualquiera que sea tu apreciación podrías estar en lo cierto, porque tú como espectador podrás armar tu propia historia. Ahora a quien ve Kate, a su madre, o a ella misma. Ve la película y luego me la cuentas.
