Hello, hello, movie hivers! I hope you're doing great. Today in our new section: Movies That Made My Childhood Very Happy we are going to talk about a Disney classic, our favorite pasta-eating doggies: "The Lady And The Tramp" from 1955.

Dama is a purebred dog, cared for and loved by her owners. When they go on a trip and leave her in the care of her aunt, a hateful woman who hates dogs and will make Dama run away terrified into the street, not knowing where she is going or how to spend the night, a peculiar stray dog will come to her aid.

My childhood wasn't 1955, but I did see it a lot as a kid. In the midst of 2023 I think that while "The Lady And The Tramp" is a nostalgic film, it's pretty simple. I grew up on already evolved animation, with depths and iconic songs, when I saw the film I felt it lacked those points.
Mi infancia no fue en 1955, pero si la vi un montón de pequeña. En pleno 2023 creo que, aunque “The Lady And The Tramp” es una cinta nostálgica, es bastante simple. Crecí en una animación ya evolucionada, con profundidades y canciones icónicas, cuando vi la película sentí que carecía de esos puntos.
It's a movie from almost seventy years ago, yes, even I don't believe it's so many years ago but it is. It's normal that it doesn't go with me so much, besides, you can't demand much from it either, it's the first original Walt Disney story, it's less than an hour long... I think it's entertaining and enjoyable, iconic but I don't think it's more iconic than other Disney classics.
Es una película de hace casi setenta años, sí, ni yo me creo que sean tantos pero lo son. Es normal que no vaya tanto conmigo, además tampoco se le puede exigir mucho, es la primera historia original de Walt Disney, dura menos de una hora… Creo que es entretenida y disfrutable, icónica pero no creo que más icónica que otros clásicos Disney
I laughed more than I expected, I think using scenes without dialogue where funny things happen is a very good resource when they are animals, because even if they talk in other scenes, they point to the natural tenderness that a dog generates without the need to talk (if you like dogs like me).
Me reí más de lo que esperaba, creo que usar escenas sin diálogo donde ocurren cosas chistosas es muy buen recurso cuando son animales, porque aunque hablen en otras escenas apuntan a la ternura natural que genera un perro sin necesidad de hablar (si te gustan los perros como a mí).
The truth is not a movie that left me with a lot to tell, but it was a nice time to rediscover my childhood, objectively I have to give it a 6.8/10
La verdad no es una película que me haya dejado con mucho para contar pero sí con un rato bonito reencontrándome con mi niñez, objetivamente debo darle un 6.8/10.
