La frase o algunas veces pregunta sobre si es posible "Separar el arte del artista" es algo que cada vez más está presente en la opinión pública; este es un tema difícil de escapar porque en cualquier lado existe un bombardeo sobre opiniones y hechos realizados por personas famosas que pueden o no haber hecho algo equivocado o percibido cómo erróneo para la sociedad y terminar siendo señalado o cancelado. Todo esté tipo de temas se ha convertido en algo diario y me sorprende que era algo que no se había recreado de la manera como se hace en el film que hago reseña en esta publicación.
The phrase or sometimes question about whether it is possible to "Separate the art from the artist" is something that is increasingly present in public opinion; this is a difficult topic to escape because everywhere there is a bombardment of opinions and facts made by famous people who may or may not have done something wrong or perceived as wrong for society and end up being singled out or canceled. All these kinds of issues have become a daily occurrence and it surprises me that it was something that had not been recreated in the way it is done in the film that I review in this publication.
En el drama psicológico estrenado el pasado año conocido como "Tár", veremos la vida de la exitosa "Lydia Tár", una mujer que está en lo más alto de su carrera como compositora y jefe directora de la Filarmónica de Berlín; ella es una mujer que para llegar a la posición que representa consiguió un número de logros que la convierten en alguien admirable, alguien con mucho poder y justamente ese estatus es lo que causará disyuntivas con nuevas generaciones, compañeros de profesión y compañeras sentimentales; todo porque mientras estás en lo más alto sientes que tienes un poder que te hace inquebrantable, pero la realidad es otra porque mientras más alto estés, la caída podrá ser mucho peor.
In the psychological drama released last year known as "Tár ", we will see the life of the successful "Lydia Tár", a woman who is at the top of her career as a composer and chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic; she is a woman who to reach the position she represents achieved a number of accomplishments that make her someone admirable, someone with a lot of power and precisely that status is what will cause disjunctions with new generations, colleagues and romantic partners; all because while you are at the top you feel you have a power that makes you unbreakable, but the reality is different because the higher you are, the fall can be much worse.
La dirección y guion fue hecho por.Todd Field actor de larga data, quien con este film llega a tres films dirigidos y escritos. No he visto ninguno de sus dos anteriores trabajos y tal vez eso hizo que me aprendiera con su estilo de filmar; "Tár" es un hermoso film, muy bien dirigido, con una excelente fotografía; la mayoría de sus escenas son de muchas conversaciones, pero los diferentes puntos de vista que nos muestra Field son algo que lo hace muy entretenido porque es artístico y es que dependiendo del ángulo de la cámara podemos percibir diferentes perspectivas de una misma situación; mis escenas favoritas sin ninguna duda son las que están relacionadas con la música, tanto a la enseñanza como al momento de crearla.
La historia es magnífica, real, actual y cruda; es un claro ejemplo sobre el uso del poder, la imposición del poder sin importar en que posición o estatus te encuentres en la sociedad, puedes ser alguien sumamente conocido o mantenerte en el anonimato, lo importante es que dependiendo de diferentes oportunidades que aparezca, tendrás la posibilidad de ejercer poder; eso es este film el cual en mi opinión demuestra un guion inteligente, muy bien ideado y que me ha gustado mucho; me gusta como trata el tema del choque generacional con respecto a que está bien o que está mal desde el punto de vista del arte; también me parece genial que cree un debate sobre si por el miedo de ser juzgado o cancelado se deba rechazar a quien haya hecho o dicho algo reprobable y así mantenerse en el lado positivo de la actual sociedad; esto es uno de los factores que más me ha impactado de este film, es una gran manera de enseñar cómo nunca se puede subestimar nada en este mundo actual.
The direction and screenplay was done by Todd Field a long time actor, who with this film reaches three films directed and written. I have not seen any of his two previous works and maybe that made me learn with his style of filming; "Tár" is a beautiful film, very well directed, with excellent photography; most of his scenes are of many conversations, but the different points of view that Field shows us are something that makes it very entertaining because it is artistic and depending on the angle of the camera we can perceive different perspectives of the same situation; my favorite scenes without any doubt are those that are related to music, both in teaching and at the time of creating it.
The story is magnificent, real, current and raw; it is a clear example of the use of power, the imposition of power no matter what position or status you are in society, you can be someone extremely well known or remain anonymous, the important thing is that depending on different opportunities that appear, you will have the possibility to exercise power; that is this film which in my opinion shows an intelligent script, very well thought out and that I liked a lot; I like how it deals with the issue of the generational clash regarding what is right or wrong from the point of view of art; I also think it's great that it creates a debate on whether for fear of being judged or canceled should reject who has done or said something reprehensible and thus stay on the positive side of the current society; this is one of the factors that struck me most about this film, it is a great way to teach how you can never underestimate anything in this world today.
Aparte del guion y la dirección, no hay duda que otro factor, seguramente el más importante es la actuación de Cate Blanchett cómo "Lydia Tár", en mi humilde opinión, Cate es impresionante, ella es el film, su actuación es perfecta desde su primera escena, hasta el final; me gusta la confianza, la fuerza, la poca y justificada poca humildad que tiene este personaje; es alguien que ha luchado para llegar al lugar donde está sin olvidar quien la ayudó a estar en esa posición aunque en realidad es otra manera de enseñar el poder que tiene y es que está película usa a este personaje para demostrar como alguien usa el poder dependiendo del estatus en una comunidad y es por eso que en este film veremos cada paso, cada pensamiento que tenga este personaje para así entender ese mundo que se ha creado y por eso la actuación de Blanchett es excelente porque ella en cada escena puede mostrar ese poder de controlar todo y también puede enseñar todo lo contrario; en mi opinión es la mejor actuación que he visto de los films nomidados a los Premios a la Academia.
Apart from the script and the direction, there is no doubt that another factor, surely the most important is the performance of Cate Blanchett as "Lydia Tár", in my humble opinion, Cate is impressive, she is the film, her performance is perfect from her first scene, until the end; I like the confidence, the strength, the little and justified little humility that this character has; She is someone who has fought to get to where she is without forgetting who helped her to be in that position although in reality it is another way to show the power she has and this film uses this character to show how someone uses power depending on the status in a community and that is why in this film we will see every step, every thought that this character has to understand the world that has been created and that is why the performance of Blanchett is excellent because in every scene she can show that power to control everything and she can also show the opposite; in my opinion it is the best performance I have seen of the films nominated for the Academy Awards.
Sé que no me alcanzará el tiempo para ver todos los films nominados a los Premios Oscar que se entregarán el próximo domingo, pero no hay duda de que la mayoría de las películas nominadas que he visto hasta la fecha presentan una gran calidad y es que cada una tienen características importantes que las hacen excelentes y debo decir que antes de ver "Tár" pensaba que lo único destacable era la actuación de Cate Blanchett y a pesar de que ella es muy relevante en este film, debo decir que sorprendió y mucho el trabajo de Todd Field; su manera de mostrar y desarrollar está historia desde el punto de vista de una artista, genio, maestro, exitosa que con su experiencia, conocimiento y pasión por lo que hace, trata de enseñar a quien se limita en alcanzar un potencial, pero también toma ventaja justamente por quien es en una comunidad; es algo que hace que cada espectador, pertenezca a cualquier generación piense que tanta razón o que tan equivocado se puede estar al ver esas experiencias que tiene el personaje principal de esta historia; creo que eso es lo importante de este film el cual es más que una gran actuación, es una historia muy buena que debería tener mucho más reconocimiento que muchos otros films porque como he dicho en varias oportunidades, crea un debate y no una batalla de generaciones.
I know I will not have enough time to see all the films nominated for the Oscar Awards to be presented next Sunday, but there is no doubt that most of the nominated films I have seen so far have a great quality and each one has important characteristics that make them excellent and I must say that before seeing "Tár" I thought that the only remarkable thing was the performance of Cate Blanchett and although she is very relevant in this film, I must say that the work of Todd Field surprised me a lot; his way of showing and developing this story from the point of view of an artist, genius, teacher, successful, who with his experience, knowledge and passion for what he does, tries to teach those who are limited in reaching a potential, but also takes advantage just because of who he is in a community; It is something that makes every viewer, whatever generation they belong to, think how right or how wrong they can be to see those experiences that the main character of this story has; I think that is the important thing about this film which is more than a great performance, it is a very good story that should have much more recognition than many other films because as I have said on several occasions, it creates a debate and not a battle of generations.
