Conocida en Hispanoamérica como Los tipos Malos , es una película animada de crimen policial, estrenada en 2022, y basada en la popular saga de libros infantiles, del mismo nombre, escritos por Aaron Blabey, producida por DreamWorks Animation. Esta dirigida por Pierre Perifel en su debut como director, y es protagonizada por las voces de Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Richard Ayoade, entre otros.

En un mundo donde los animales antropomorfos y los humanos conviven con total naturalidad, un grupo de ladrones destaca. Los llamados The bad Guys (Los tipos malos), es una banda de malhechores formada por un lobo, una serpiente, una tarántula, un tiburón y una piraña, que pasan sus días robando bancos y eludiendo la cárcel, hasta que un día todo cambia, cuando el lobo comienza a plantearse la relación entre el bien y el mal, y si realmente debe ser malo o no.

Hace unos meses vi su poster y medio tráiler, desde alli llamo mi atención, sumado a la gran asistencia de mi sobrino con verla, termine cediendo a la presión y aceptando ver esta cinta. Aunque mi interés no era mucho al inicio, al verla no quede decepcionada, la verdad fue una grata sorpresa lo entretenida y fascinante que llego a ser.

Se trata de los animales mas infames y temidos por la cultura popular, tanto así que cada uno de ellos tiene una o varias películas de terror donde son los antagonistas, a parte de libros, juegos y otras mercancías, que los vincula a una mala reputación. En este filme forman un equipo para dar honor a su fama y ser los mas malos del lugar, robando y cometiendo crímenes por toda la ciudad.

El mensaje es obvio, no podemos juzgar a las personas solamente por su exterior, tampoco debemos crear estereotipos, a partir de las acciones de unos cuantos individuos pertenecientes a un grupo, ya que esto es nocivo no solo para los miembros de ese conjunto, también para el resto de la sociedad. Generalmente porque limita las oportunidades de tienen estas personas en la vida, además afecta como interactúan con la sociedad. Alguien que contantemente es llamado malo y es despreciado por sus iguales, muy difícilmente hora algo positivo en su entorno.

En la película vemos un ejemplo de lo anterior, desde siempre fueron tildados de malos y temidos simplemente porque su especie tiene mala fama, esto sin duda limito sus posibles acciones encaminándolos al mal como único medio de salida. Claro, ellos disfrutan de los atracos pero no es por el acto en si, sino por el escape y la venganza a su entorno que estos representan, además también disfrutan la compañía que su amistad proporciona, cosa que sin los robos no hubiera sido posible. Esta es una película para todo publico, con una trama sencilla y ya vista. Sin embargo, no cambia la importancia y la fuerza de su mensaje, un hecho que nunca pasa de moda, pues las lecciones de este tipo siempre son bien recibidas para cualquier generación.

También habla sobre la importancia de las segundas oportunidades y como estas pueden cambiar la vida de muchos para mejor, los errores, aunque estén mal, son parte del crecimiento y no solo tenemos el deber de ser responsables hacia ellos, también tenemos el derecho de seguir adelante con nuestras vidas. Una cosa que me gusto, es que al final de la película ellos aceptan ese hecho y deciden entregarse a la policía, para pagar por sus crímenes y comenzar desde cero.

En los aspectos técnicos, creo que la película fue muy buena, la música y la animación estuvieron a la altura, este estilo me gusta mucho, no lo voy a negar, y últimamente se esta volviendo popular. Además la dinámica de los personajes estuvo entretenida, fue fascinante ver como seria la interacción entre estas especies. Varios de los detalles y las situaciones de fondo me parecieron divertidas, como el hecho de darle brazos falsos a una serpiente, eso me dio risa. Creo que lo que me llamo mas la atención fueron las referencia y nos recursos típicos de las películas de atraco, esto realmente es una formula y estructura predecible, pero siempre es entretenida.

En conclusión, recomiendo la película en especial si estas en familia, es entretenida además tienen mensajes que nunca sobran y momentos divertidos que están bien para pasar el rato. Esta cinta es excelente para ver un domingo en la tarde con la familia, lejos de estrés y la rutina diaria.

A few months ago I saw its poster and half trailer, from there it caught my attention, added to the great assistance of my nephew with seeing it, I ended up giving in to the pressure and agreeing to see this film. Although my interest was not much at the beginning, when I saw it I was not disappointed, the truth was a pleasant surprise how entertaining and fascinating it became.

It is about the most infamous and feared animals in popular culture, so much so that each of them has one or more horror movies where they are the antagonists, apart from books, games and other merchandise, which links them to a bad reputation. In this film they team up to live up to their reputation and be the baddest bad guys in town, stealing and committing crimes all over the city.

The message is obvious, we cannot judge people only by their exterior, nor should we create stereotypes based on the actions of a few individuals belonging to a group, as this is harmful not only for the members of that group, but also for the rest of society. Generally because it limits the opportunities these people have in life, and also affects how they interact with society. Someone who is constantly called bad and is despised by his peers is unlikely to have a positive impact on his environment.

In the movie we see an example of the above, they were always branded as bad and feared simply because their species has a bad reputation, this undoubtedly limited their possible actions leading them to evil as the only way out. Of course, they enjoy the robberies but it is not for the act itself, but for the escape and revenge to their environment that they represent, they also enjoy the company that their friendship provides, which without the robberies would not have been possible. This is a film for all audiences, with a simple and already seen plot. However, it does not change the importance and strength of its message, a fact that never goes out of style, as lessons of this kind are always welcome to any generation.

It also talks about the importance of second chances and how they can change the lives of many for the better, mistakes, even if they are wrong, are part of growing up and we not only have the duty to be responsible towards them, we also have the right to move on with our lives. One thing I liked, is that at the end of the movie they accept that fact and decide to turn themselves in to the police, to pay for their crimes and start from scratch.

In the technical aspects, I think the movie was very good, the music and animation were up to par, I really like this style, I will not deny it, and lately it is becoming popular. Also the dynamics of the characters were entertaining, it was fascinating to see how the interaction between these species would be. Several of the details and background situations I found funny, like the fact of giving fake arms to a snake, that gave me a laugh. I think what caught my attention were the references and resources typical of heist movies, this really is a predictable formula and structure, but it is always entertaining.

In conclusion, I recommend the movie especially if you are with your family, it is entertaining and has messages that are never too many and funny moments that are good to pass the time. This movie is excellent to watch on a Sunday afternoon with the family, away from stress and daily routine.
