Greeting Movie Lovers!
The movie "Yes Day," which was adapted from a children's book, checks off a number of young people's desires as the Torres family acts extravagantly but never inappropriately.
Jennifer Garner's as Allison and Edgar Ramirez's as Carlos Torres are a "adventurous" couple who frequently engage in outdoor activities. But after they became parents to three kids, everything changed.
Allison must say "no" as a mother even though she frequently says "yes" to life in order to ensure the security of her kids. Contrarily, Carlos needed to maintain order in his workplace so that he wouldn't have time to deal with his kids' commotion.
They didn't decide to implement "Yes Day," a day when their kids can ask for anything and they will say "yes," until after their kids got into trouble at school and demonstrated the consequences of Allison and Carlos's actions.
This movie is a family comedy-drama with a common plot found in movies of the same generation. Only this time, it illustrates the idea of "Yes Day," which, in my opinion, isn't executed throughout the narration with enough polish.
In addition to acting in other Netflix productions like "The Babysitter," "Killer Instinct," the drama series "You," and not to mention the most recent drama, "Wednesday," Jenna Ortega is once again the streaming service's "golden child." This actor is undoubtedly talented, and we can only hope that in the future, he will stand out with stronger performances.
The only noteworthy aspect of this film is that it is appropriate for the entire family to watch. This film might appeal to even young children, and it contains some poignant lessons about "parenting" that are worth considering.
The plot and the acting of Jennifer Garner and Edgar Ramirez, who appear to be straining too hard to fit into this type of movie, don't need to be further discussed. can be viewed whenever you want.
For 24 hours, the kids are in charge, and we parents must say yes to everything they say; we cannot say no! The most important rule is that we all have the most fun we've ever had as a family.
