WandaVision - A review after watching first 6 episodes

An extremely fascinating 2021 TV mini-series combining comedy, action and drama in a very surprising way.

The name of the movie is given by the two main characters: Wanda and her husband Vision. The two of them have special powers while they engage in daily marital interactions, working tasks, neighbours talks, having kids and so on. However, the common things we are used to are now potrayed in a different light. As the series evolve, we soon find out that the magnific universe (Disney+/ Marvel Studios) they both picture is much more than that.

The comic moments are so well done, the action is tremendous and the drama makes you question your own reality. The different periods of time envisioned are well mixed and the characters are well-played. Elizabeth Olsen (in the role of Wanda) makes a very good appearance in the mini-series. She is the younger sister of the famous Olsen sisters.

Some people said they got bored after watching first episodes whereas others were very pleased to watch such a brilliant masterpiece. I think the mini-series need a bit of patience and a particular interest for movies. I am not an easy watcher of unusual movies if they don’t catch me from the beginning. And in a surprising way this movie was catchy for me because I guess it is not only about wonder heroes and their actions. It is more in there about questioning life, reality and thinking from psychological and philosophical points of view.
