¿Qué tal se encuentran? Espero que muy bien, acá me encuentro nuevamente para compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre una nueva película que vi recientemente y que me gustó, creo que alguna vez llegué a mencionar lo mucho que amo las películas de Tom Hanks y es de una de ellas precisamente que les vengo a hablar hoy, se trata de Un vecino gruñón (2022) originalmente llamada en inglés A man called Otto pero que a su vez es una segunda adaptación de la novela A man called Ove y aunque solo he visto esta película y no sus versiones anteriores debo decir que la historia me pareció muy buena y conmovedora así que les hablaré un poco sobre mi opinión al respecto, espero que sea de su agrado, sin más, ¡comencemos!

I hope very well, here I am again to share with you my opinion about a new movie that I saw recently and that I liked, I think I ever mentioned how much I love Tom Hanks movies and it is precisely one of them that I come to talk to you about today, it is about A grumpy neighbor (2022) originally called in English A man called Otto but which in turn is a second adaptation of the novel A man called Ove and although I have only seen this film and not its previous versions, I must say that I found the story very good and moving, so I will tell you a little about my opinion about it, I hope you like it, without further ado, let's begin!
La historia de este film se basa en la vida de un hombre, Otto, nuestro protagonista interpretado por Tom Hanks, quien hace honor al título de la película porque es realmente un vecino muy gruñón, una pesadilla para muchos pero es a su vez quien mantiene “en orden” su vecindario, así que podemos decir que tiene una buena razón de ser así, pero a lo largo de la película conocemos un poco mejor sobre su vida y su pasado y es cuando descubrimos en realidad su motivo de ser “gruñón”.
The story of this film is based on the life of a man, Otto, our protagonist played by Tom Hanks, who lives up to the title of the film because he is really a very grumpy neighbor, a nightmare for many but he is also the one who keeps his neighborhood "in order", so we can say that he has a good reason for being so, but throughout the film we learn a little better about his life and his past and that is when we discover in his reason for being "grumpy".
La vida de Otto da un gran giro con la llegada de sus nuevos vecinos que a pesar de que eran todo lo opuesto a él hicieron en cierta forma que este cambiara por completo su perspectiva sobre la vida y es precisamente esto lo que más me gusta de la historia, que aunque podemos entender a Otto y su forma de ser llega alguien a darle “luz” a su vida y a sacar lo mejor de él, pues, durante su relación podemos presenciar muchos actos tan bonitos y desinteresados que nos hacen desear tener a unos vecinos así, llegando a desarrollar una relación de amistad más que de vecinos, casi como de familia. Me encantó como nos hacen ver que una persona por más dura que sea o parezca lleva algo dentro que lo hace igual a todos, solo debemos ayudarle a exponerlo.
Otto's life takes a big turn with the arrival of his new neighbors who, despite being the complete opposite of him, somehow made him completely change his perspective on life and this is precisely what I like the most about the story, that although we can understand Otto and his way of being, someone comes to give "light" to his life and to get the best out of him, well, during their relationship we can witness many such beautiful acts and disinterested people who make us want to have neighbors like this, developing a relationship of friendship rather than neighbors, almost like family. I loved how they make us see that a person, no matter how tough they may be or seem, carries something inside that makes them the same as everyone else, we just have to help them expose it.
Otro detalle que me gustó de la película es que el actor que interpreta a Otto en el pasado, es decir, más joven es uno de sus hijos (Truman Hanks), por lo que hay mucho parecido con el personaje y literalmente es como ver a Tom Hanks más joven, como de otra época, solo que sin efectos ni ediciones porque se trata de una versión real de él más joven, aunque a mi parecer Travis Hanks se parece mucho más, pero el punto es que este detalle le da más realismo a la historia.
Another detail that I liked about the film is that the actor who plays Otto in the past, that is, younger, is one of his sons (Truman Hanks), so there is a lot of resemblance to the character and it is literally like seeing Tom Hanks younger, like from another era, only without effects or edits because it is a real version of him younger, although in my opinion Travis Hanks it looks much more similar, but the point is that this detail gives the story more realism.
Toda la historia en general me pareció muy buena al igual que su transcurso porque de cierta manera el personaje principal iba evolucionando a la vez que su vida y su actitud mejoraban, dejando poco a poco de ser tan gruñón y esto no significa que Otto pierde su esencia o su encanto como vecino gruñón, sino que aprende a dejar ir su pasado y a avanzar, pues, solo le hacía falta que alguien lo entendiera en lugar de criticar su actitud y a su vez lo soportara, haciéndole ver su realidad. El final es realmente triste pero de alguna manera fue mejor de lo que habría sido sin estas personas en su vida, pues, de no haber sido por ellos Otto no habría experimentado un poco de felicidad nuevamente.
The whole story in general seemed very good to me, as well as its course because in a certain way the main character was evolving while his life and attitude improved, gradually ceasing to be so grumpy and this does not mean that Otto he loses his essence or his charm as a grumpy neighbor, but instead learns to let go of his past and move on, because he just needed someone to understand him instead of criticizing his attitude and in turn put up with it, making him see his reality. The ending is really sad but somehow it was better than it would have been without these people in his life, well, if it hadn't been for them Otto he wouldn't have experienced a bit of happiness again.
