¡Hi! I want to recommend to you today, the series called The Law According to Lidia Poët. I found it by accident, in my Netflix suggestions. it's an Italian series and I gave it a try.
The series is about the first Italian lawyer, Lidia Poët. Who studied the profession and practiced it, but as we know, in the period of 1800-1900 sexism was everywhere, and women were not allowed to exercise jobs considered only for men.
This woman, against everything that was pre-established and what was considered right at the time, studied and practiced law until the court revoked her permission to practice the profession. She is writing an appeal to that decision.

I liked it a lot, it has some detective airs that make it very interesting, each chapter is a different case in which the lawyer achieves a very creative way of finding the suspect, by pushing them to surprise them infraganti.
It has some touches of comedy between brothers that make it quite fun, and some romantic touches that make us imagine platonic love. I loved how the Italian actors played each character.
I have always been a fan of the Italian language, it's one of my dreams to learn it. The chapters are not tedious, they are immersive.
Maybe I think some people who love detective or police series and movies may find it very common among other types of series of this style, it's not really innovative, but it does not have something different that I can say stands out from the rest. I think it’s a really good show to hang out and entertain.
Another thing I enjoyed watching the series was the costumes, more specifically the dresses of the protagonist. Each dress represents her personality, daring, challenging, sensual, dangerous, and rebellious. I even get to observe a kind of wide pants, which give her a little more freedom than the skirt of a dress, which I thought was a nice detail, since that inspires independence from the world of men.
I appreciate that this part of feminism is subtly included, the series doesn't go around with obsessive feminism, but her personality and story include feminism in a fairly homogeneous and natural way. It makes women’s empowerment feel very inspiring.
In conclusion, it’s not an Emmy-winning series, but it’s an inspiring, funny, and entertaining series. I recommend giving it a try.

¡Hola! Quería recomendarles hoy, esta serie llamada La Ley Según Lidia Poët. La encontré sin querer, en mis sugeridos de Netflix. Vi que era una serie italiana y le di una oportunidad.
La serie trata de la primera abogada moderna de Italia, llamada Lidia Poët. Quien estudio la profesión y la ejercía, pero como sabemos, en la época de 1800-1900 el machismo estaba a tope y a las mujeres no se les permitía ejercer profesiones consideradas únicamente para hombres.
Esta mujer, en contra de todo lo que estaba preestablecido por lo que se consideraba correcto en la época, estudio y ejerció la abogacía hasta que la corte le revoco permisos para ejercer la profesión. Ella se encuentra en la redacción de una apelación a dicha decisión de la corte.

¿Qué tal me ha parecido hasta ahora? 🍿
Me ha gustado bastante, tiene unos aires detectivescos que la hacen muy interesante, cada capitulo es un caso diferente en los que la abogada logra una manera muy creativa de encontrar al culpable, de empujarlos hasta sorprenderlos infraganti.
Tiene unos toques de comedia entre hermanos que la hacen bastante divertida, y unos toques románticos que nos hacen imaginar amores platónicos. Me ha encantado como los actores italianos han interpretado cada personaje.
Siempre he sido Fan de el idioma italiano, es uno de mis sueños poder aprenderlo. Los capítulos no son tediosos, son bastante inmersivos.
Talvez creo que habrá personas muy amantes del nicho detectivesco o policiaco que la encuentre muy común entre otro tipo de series de este estilo, realmente no es innovadora, no tiene algo diferente que yo pueda decir que la destaca del resto. Me parece que es una serie muy buena para pasar el rato y entretenerse.
Otra de las cosas que pude disfrutar mientras veía la serie, es el vestuario, más específicamente el vestuario de la protagonista. Cada vestido representa su personalidad, atrevida, desafiante, sensual, peligrosa, rebelde. Inclusive logre observar que se fabrico una especie de pantalones anchos los cuales le dan un poco mas de libertad que la falda de un vestido, lo que me pareció un bonito detalle, ya que ella inspira independencia del mundo de los hombres.
Aprecio que esa parte del feminismo este sutilmente incluida, la serie no va entorno a un feminismo obsesivo, sino que su personalidad y su historia te lo incluyen de una forma bastante homogénea y natural. Hace sentir el empoderamiento de la mujer de una forma muy inspiradora.
En conclusión, no es una serie ganadora de un Emmy, pero si es una serie inspiradora, graciosa, entretenida. Te recomiendo darle una oportunidad.
