Today I bring to your attention the viewing of an action film which, even if it is old, in fact it is from 1998, I find very current. When in the evening while we have dinner I listen to the news on TV I often make associations with the films I have seen because I can't help it; I love cinema. And in this period I couldn't help but associate this film with events happening in the world. The Siege tells us about terrorist attacks, Islamic fundamentalist organizations, Palestinians, Arab sheikhs and immolation. But since it's set in New York it's intriguing because organizations like the FBI, CIA and even the US Army come into play and impose a curfew on the entire city. It's a great action film, shockingly intelligent and with a great cast.
A series of terrorist attacks turn New York City into a battlefield; but it is the human implications that hurt us in this film. Cinema often manages to transport us into realities that are still sadly current. And as always, I won't tell you anything else, I'll leave you to the pleasure of watching!! Until next time

Oggi propongo alla vostra attenzione la visione di un film di azione che, anche se i suoi anni li ha, infatti è del 1998, lo trovo molto attuale.
Quando la sera mentre ceniamo ascolto le notizie in tv faccio spesso associazioni con i film che ho visto perché non posso farne a meno; amo il cinema.
Ed in questo periodo non ho potuto fare a meno di associare questo film ai fatti che accadono nel mondo.
The Siege ci parla di attacchi terroristici, di organizzazioni di integralisti islamici, di Palestinesi di sceicchi arabi e di immolazione.
Ma poiché è ambientato a New York è intrigante perché entrano in gioco organizzazioni come l'FBI, la CIA e persino l'esercito degli Stati Uniti che impone il coprifuoco sull'intera città.
È un ottimo film d'azione, spiazzante intelligente e con un ottimo cast.
Una serie di attentati terroristici trasformano la città di New York in un campo di battaglia; ma sono i risvolti umani che ci feriscono in questo film.
Spesso il cinema riesce a trasportarci dentro realtà che sono ancora tristemente attuali.
E come sempre non vi dico altro vi lascio al piacere della visione!!
