Ustedes saben que las películas románticas son definitivamente mis favoritas, así que desde que comencé a ver la diferente publicidad que se estaba haciendo en torno a ésta película, y aunado al papel protagónico masculino, enseguida sentí curiosidad por verla, y aunque en el tráiler nos dejan ver que será una historia con bastante acción, para mí siempre fue claro que esto estaría mas bien cargado de un tinte romántico en incluso cómico,y vaya que no me equivoqué 🤣, sin embargo no añadiré mas nada y pasamos a hablar sobre Ghosted.
You know that romantic movies are definitely my favourite, so since I started to see the different publicity that was being done around this movie, and the male lead role, I was immediately curious to see it, and although in the trailer they let us see that it will be a story with a lot of action, for me it was always clear that this would be rather charged with a romantic or even comic tinge, and boy was I not wrong 🤣, however I will not add anything more and let's move on to talk about Ghosted.
Estrenada el 21 de Abril del 2023 para la plataforma de streaming Apple Tv, ésta película cuenta con la participación de Dexter Fletcher como director, Chris Evans y Ana de Armas en los papeles protagónicos de Cole y Sadie. Cole es un chico granjero que un día conoce a la enigmática Sadie, y tras una cita improvisada él queda completamente enamorado de ella, sin embargo ella parece no querer responder a ninguno de sus innumerables mensajes, por lo que armado de valor sale en su búsqueda solo para terminar descubriendo que Sadie es realmente una agente secreto, y que ahora ambos estab envueltos en una gran y peligrosa aventura internacional.
Released on 21 April 2023 for the Apple TV streaming platform, this film stars Dexter Fletcher as director, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas in the lead roles of Cole and Sadie. Cole is a farm boy who one day meets the enigmatic Sadie, and after an impromptu date he falls completely in love with her, but she doesn't seem to want to respond to any of his countless messages, so he bravely sets off in search of her only to discover that Sadie is actually a secret agent, and that they are now both involved in a great and dangerous international adventure.
Mi razón principal para ver ésta película fue claramente Chris Evans, y es que para nadie que me conozca es un secreto que yo soy súper fan de él, sin embargo otro aspecto que hizo que mi hermana y yo nos interesaramos por ver ésta historia, fue toda la publicidad que bos salió con respecto a ella, tanto en Instagram como en tik tok constantemente salían videos alusivos a la misma, por lo que fue imposible no buscar la forma de verla. Antes de verla yo había visto el tráiler, algo que no suelo hacer mucho últimamente, y fue así como logre de alguna forma saber cual era el tinte de ésta película, desde el inicio sabía que sería una historia cómica cuyo foco principal sería obviamente el romance con un poco de acción, y aquí quiero detenerme porque las escenas de acción realmente no son muy buenas 🤣, he de decir que no es lo peor que he visto, pero si son demasiado irreales y con ciertos detalles a nivel de efectos especiales que dejan mucho que desear, incluso para ser una historia que realmente no está enfocada en dicho género, creo que hay cosas que pudieron cuidar con mayor detenimiento.
My main reason to see this movie was clearly Chris Evans, and it's no secret to anyone who knows me that I'm a huge fan of his, however another aspect that made my sister and I interested in seeing this story was all the publicity that came out about it, both on Instagram and tik tok were constantly showing videos alluding to it, so it was impossible not to look for a way to see it. Before watching it I had seen the trailer, something I don't usually do much lately, and that's how I managed to somehow know what the tone of this movie was, from the beginning I knew it would be a comic story whose main focus would obviously be romance with a bit of action, and here I want to stop because the action scenes really aren't very good 🤣, I have to say that it's not the worst I've seen, but they are too unrealistic and with certain details at the level of special effects that leave much to be desired, even for a story that is not really focused on that genre, I think there are things that could have been taken care of more carefully.
Entre los detalles que debieron cuidar con más detenimiento, encontramos el villano de la historia, algo a lo que yo le presto su debida atención en ciertas historias es al villano, porque muchas veces de las escenas de la historia giran obviamente en torno a éste elemento, y si el mismo no está bien definido o ejecutado, pues gran parte de la película queda con ciertos vacíos (al menos para mi), así que en ésta historia realmente el villano pasa bastante desapercibido, para ser una clase de traficante creo que queda a deber en muchos aspectos, además que sus motivos para ser quien es en la actualidad resulta ser bastante cliché y poco novedosa, por no decir que hasta aburrida, y por estás pequeñas cosas que al final son bastante importantes, es que al menos en la parte de la acción ésta película no destaca demasiado.
Among the details that should have been taken care of more carefully, we find the villain of the story, something that I pay due attention to in certain stories is the villain, because many times the scenes of the story obviously revolve around this element, and if it is not well defined or executed, because much of the film is left with certain gaps (at least for me), so in this story really the villain goes quite unnoticed, to be a kind of drug dealer I think it falls short in many respects, plus his motives for being who he is today turns out to be quite cliché and little novel, not to say that even boring, and for these little things that in the end are quite important, is that at least in the part of the action this film does not stand out too much.
Sin embargo, en algo que sí destaca es en el apartado de romance 🤣, empezando por la buena química que tienen Chris Evans y Ana de Armas y por la peculiar combinación que hicieron al invertir el papel de agente secreto e interés amoroso, teniendo en cuenta que el primero siempre es interpretado por protagónico masculino y el segundo por el femenino, aquí me agrada mucho que cambiaron estos roles haciendo que sea la protagonista femenina la que asuma la posición de agente secreto que además se ve envuelta en una situación que hace que tenga que cuidar de nuestro protagonista masculino, y es ésta dinámica la que hace sumamente entretenida la interacción de ellos dos, haciendo que muchas escenas sean absolutamente divertidas de ver y de disfrutar con una gran sonrisa 🤣.
However, something that does stand out is in the romance section 🤣, starting with the good chemistry between Chris Evans and Ana de Armas and the peculiar combination they made by reversing the role of secret agent and love interest, considering that the former is always played by the male lead and the latter by the female, here I really like that they changed these roles making it the female protagonist who assumes the position of secret agent who also gets involved in a situation that makes her have to take care of our male protagonist, and it is this dynamic that makes the interaction of the two of them extremely entertaining, making many scenes absolutely fun to watch and to enjoy with a big smile 🤣.
Hay un pequeño fanservice en la película que de verdad agradezco mucho 🤣🤣, una escena que es totalmente un palarelismo a otra historia pero de la cual no daré mayor detalle 🤣, solo diré que está relacionado a proyectos cinematográficos donde ha trabajado Chris 🤭. Éste es el primer proyecto que veo donde trabaja Ana de Armas, y la verdad es que si me gusta su trabajo, de verdad le creí el papel que están interpretando y la verdad es que eso no pasa con todos los actores, sobre todo en éste tipo de historias. Ahora bien, el título de la película es Ghosted, pero siento que este apartado ocupa muy poco tiempo de toda la trama, aunque no es una queja realmente me espere que fuese un elemento que perdurara por más tiempo 🤣.
There is a little fanservice in the film that I really appreciate 🤣🤣🤣, a scene that is totally a palarelism to another story but I will not give more details 🤣, I will only say that it is related to film projects where Chris has worked 🤭. This is the first project I've seen where Ana de Armas works, and the truth is that I like her work, I really believed the role they are playing and the truth is that this doesn't happen with all actors, especially in this kind of stories. Now, the title of the film is Ghosted, but I feel that this section occupies very little time of the whole plot, although it is not a complaint I really expected it to be an element that lasted longer 🤣.
