Sin más que agregar prepárense para evitar que los muerdan pues estamos por comenzar.

The soundtrack does not really have a notable presence within the series, at one time or another it accompanies the action situations in a good way but outside of that there is not much to highlight on this point.
La banda sonora no tiene realmente una presencia destacable dentro de la serie, en uno que otro momento acompaña de buena forma las situaciones de acción pero fuera de ello no hay mucho que destacar sobre este punto.
The world building takes place near the border between Mexico and the United States, apart from being a curious location it really does not contribute anything, the scenery does not have much to contribute because everything takes place in the middle of nowhere so there is really no nothing interesting. Looking at something more social, it is proposed how a US military base is capable of carrying out the most unspeakable and unpleasant experiments, but this, rather than being a point of interest, is only a piece of information that is released into the air without really having a personality and therefore fact that it serves more as a plot driver than anything else.
La construcción de mundo se da cerca de la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos, fuera de ser una locación curiosa no aporta realmente nada, la escenografía no tiene mucho que aportar porque todo se desarrolla en el medio de la nada por lo que realmente no hay nada interesante. De cara a algo más social se plantea como una base militar estadounidense es capaz de realizar los experimentos más inenarrables y desagradables, pero esto más que ser un punto de interés solo es un dato que se suelta al aire sin realmente tener una personalidad y por el hecho de que funge más como un impulsador de la trama que como otra cosa.
The plot is quite dull, its greatest attraction should have been a terrible carnage, however said moment of blood and violence is delayed and given in dribs and drabs until the moment of a final confrontation that is quite unsatisfactory, the above is partly due to that zombies have a certain degree of intelligence which makes confrontations with high doses of blood rarer. The length is not exaggerated but the problem is that it focused on unimportant things that end up boring, at least half of the elements it incorporates could have been ignored because they are tedious and do not provide anything interesting.
La trama es bastante sosa, su mayor atractivo debió haber sido una carnicería terrible, no obstante dicho momento de sangre y violencia es retrasado y dado a cuenta gotas hasta el momento de una confrontación final que es bastante insatisfactoria, lo anterior se debe en parte a que los zombies tienen cierto grado de inteligencia lo que hace que las confrontaciones con altas dosis de sangre sean más escasas. Narrativamente la serie tiene muchos elementos que la complican sin necesidad: La base militar que hace experimentos raros y que crea a los zombies, el agente de la DEA que quiere atrapar a Marroquín, el cartel enemigo del protagonista, un ex camarada al que traicionaron, entre otros, todo esto recarga demasiado la serie y produce que dichos elementos se sientan con una introducción pobre y mal trabajados, y, lo peor de todo, el hecho de que no se enfoque correctamente en los zombies que es lo más importante. La duración no es exagerada pero el problema radica en que se enfoc en cosas sin importancia que terminan aburriendo, al menos la mitad de elementos que incorpora pudieron obviarse debido a que son tediosos y no aportan nada interesante.
The approach given to the characters is too dramatic, this can be perfectly evident with the protagonist who is a drug lord and his main problem is that his 9-year-old son resents him because he abandoned him, in this Their relationship is based on showing small advances and then retreating to prolong this conflict as much as possible, that is what their relationship is based on without truly having other moments that make it feel more interesting. I would like to say something more about the rest but these only end up being reactive and quite flat, even the introduction of some feels completely forced and absurd (I'm looking at you reporter Lilia) because they don't really contribute anything, they only take up space and burn time absurdly.
El enfoque que se le da a los personajes es demasiado dramático, esto se puede evidenciar perfectamente con el protagonista que es un capo de la droga y su principal problema es que su hijo de 9 años le tiene resentimiento debido a que lo abandonó, en esto se basa la relación de estos mostrando pequeños avances y luego retrocediendo para alargar este conflicto todo lo posible, en eso se basa su relación sin tener verdaderamente otros momentos que la hagan sentir más interesante. Me gustaría decir algo más del resto pero estos solo terminan siendo reactivos y bastante planos, incluso la introducción de algunos se siente completamente forzada y absurda (Te miro a ti reportera Lilia) debido a que realmente no aportan nada, solo ocupan espacio y queman tiempo de forma absurda.
S.O.Z: Soldiers or Zombies takes a very simple concept such as zombies and manages to develop it in the most clumsy and tedious way possible, sinning by incorporating too many elements and characters that have no real importance, with completely irrelevant characters and an absurd amount of drama that ends up boring. It is for all of the above that it deserves 1.5 stars out of 7, the most important thing in a series about zombies is to focus on them, not on boring confrontations between cartels and the police, if that is why it is better not to incorporate the zombies.
S.O.Z: Soldados o Zombies agarra un concepto muy sencillo como lo son los zombies y logra desarrollarlo de la forma más torpe y tediosa posible, peca de incorporar demasiados elementos y personajes que no tienen verdadera importancia, con personajes completamente irrelevantes y una cantidad absurda de drama que termina aburriendo. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 1.5 estrellas de 7, lo más importante en una serie sobre zombies es enfocarse en los estos, no en enfrentamientos aburridos entre carteles y la policía, si es para eso mejor no incorporar a los zombies.
