Welcome dear internet travelers, thank you very much for landing temporarily in my post, today I bring a different post following the initiative of @jcrodriguez, from here I send you a greeting and I thank you for allowing me to make my own version (Although I doubt see this post jajaja) The initiative consists of explaining the personal structure that you have to make a review so that people who are not very clear how to do them can use them as an example. Enough introduction, take out a pencil and paper that we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet, muchas gracias por desembarcar temporalmente en mi post, el día de hoy traigo un post diferente siguiendo la iniciativa de @jcrodriguez, desde aquí le mando un saludo y le doy las gracias por permitirme hacer mi propia versión (Aunque dudo que vea este post jajaja) La iniciativa consta de explicar la estructura personal que se tiene para realizar una reseña con el fin de que las personas que no tengan muy claro cómo hacerlas las puedan usar de ejemplo. Suficiente introducción, saquen lápiz y papel que estamos por comenzar.
Recommendations before you start|Recomendaciones antes de empezar
- When reviewing some material, avoid reading other reviews that have been made of it so that it does not influence your criteria.
- Al reseñar algún material eviten leer otras reseñas que se hayan hecho de ello para que no influencie su criterio.
- If you are going to read reviews, do it about things that you are not going to review or after you have done yours so that it remains as personal as possible.
- Si van a leer reseñas háganlo sobre cosas que no vayan a reseñar o después de que hayan hecho la suya para que esta se mantenga lo más personal posible.
- Always try to stay as objective as possible.
- Traten siempre de mantenerse lo más objetivos posible.
Before starting the review I usually use words that I put before everything, these are important because they help me warm up to start the review and they consist of small data or questions related to the work. After this I usually use different sections, these sections I use to have a certain order, I do it because a disorderly review would confuse the reader, so the ideal is to start a section, develop it, conclude it and then open another, in this way ideas are concluded and information chaos is avoided. I separate the sections with images so that the change between sections is clearly noticeable.
Antes de iniciar la reseña suelo usar palabras que coloco antes de todo, estas son importantes debido a que me ayudan a entrar en calor para iniciar la reseña y constan de pequeños datos o preguntas referentes a la obra. Después de esto suelo utilizar diferentes apartados, estas secciones las uso para tener cierto orden, lo hago porque una reseña desordenada confundiría al lector, por lo que lo ideal es empezar una sección desarrollarla, concluirla y luego abrir otra, de esta forma se concluyen ideas y se evita un caos de información. Separo las secciones con imágenes para que se note bien el cambio entre apartados.
The synopsis, what is a synopsis? It can be defined as a brief summary of what whatever they are reviewing is about, I consider that it is best to do it personally so that the post has its own identity, if you have no idea how to do it, it is best to practice to to be polishing in the area, I recommend you not to use synopses of others since it takes away the personality of the review. In this section I also usually place the creator of the work in question, the year it was released, if it is a series I usually put the number of chapters and the duration it has. I usually use it to give information about its creators and a brief summary of what it is about, said summary should be done without praising or reproaching in any way, simply a little talk about what is going to be reviewed in an impartial way.
La sinopsis ¿Qué es una sinopsis? Se puede definir como un resumen breve de lo que trata lo que sea que estén reseñando, considero que lo mejor es que se realice de forma personal para que el post tenga identidad propia, si no tienes idea de cómo hacerlo lo mejor es ir practicando para ir puliéndose en el área, les recomiendo no usar sinopsis de otros puesto que le quita personalidad a la reseña. En este apartado también suelo colocar el creador de la obra en cuestión, el año en que fue estrenado, si es una serie suelo colocar el número de capítulos y la duración que posee. Lo suelo utilizar para dar información de sus creadores y un resumen breve de que trata, dicho resumen debe hacerse sin elogiar o reprochar de ninguna manera, simplemente se debe hablar un poco de que lo que se va a reseñar de manera imparcial.
The characters are all those who perform actions in the work, they are highly important so I usually dedicate a section to make them known to the reader, in this section I usually mention the main protagonists and highlight some traits of their personality. There are 2 reasons for this section, the first is to make the characters known so that those who have not seen what we are reviewing understand if we refer to any of these. The second is to establish a precedent for the characters to be developed later in the analysis section.
Los personajes son todos aquellos que realizan acciones en la obra, los mismos son altamente importantes por lo que suelo dedicarles una sección para darlos a conocer al lector, en dicha sección suelo mencionar a los principales protagonistas y destacar algunos rasgos de su personalidad. Existen 2 razones para este apartado, la primera es dar a conocer a los personajes para que aquellos que no han visto lo que estamos reseñando entiendan si hacemos referencia a alguno de estos. La segunda es para establecer un precedente de los personajes para ser desarrollado más adelante en el apartado de análisis.
Finally we come to my favorite section which is to analyze, firstly I will tell you that analyzing is something very different than summarizing, an analysis consists of giving one more point of view does not mean that they should say in great detail everything that happens throughout of the story, the idea is to review the material with a certain degree of subtlety not to tell anything that could ruin the plot in any way. I use the other sections as a preamble to this one, so there must be agreement between them.
Finalmente llegamos a mi sección favorita que es la de analizar, primeramente les diré que analizar es algo muy diferente que resumir, un análisis consta de dar un punto de vista más no significa que deban decir con lujo de detalles todo lo que sucede a lo largo de la historia, la idea es reseñar el material con cierto grado de sutileza de no contar nada que pueda arruinar la trama de alguna manera. Las demás secciones las uso como preámbulo de esta por lo que debe haber concordancia entre ellas.
I usually start by talking about the quality of the animation if it is something animated what I am reviewing and the soundtrack, in case of having animation I mention how fluid it is obviously this must be located at the time it was broadcast, it is absurd expect something that was released in the 80s to have the same animation quality as something that was released last year. In the case of the soundtrack, it is expected that it is in accordance with the scene shown and that it causes the viewer to be immersed in the moment, it would be very strange if an epic music sounded in a sad scene. I do not usually give much importance to these sections because they are not a section that really defines the work as something successful.
Suelo comenzar hablando de la calidad de la animación si es algo animado lo que estoy reseñando y de la banda sonora, en caso de tener animación menciono lo fluida de la misma obviamente esto debe ubicarse en la época en qué se emitió la misma, es absurdo esperar que algo que fue estrenado en los 80 tenga la misma calidad de animación que algo estrenado el año pasado. En el caso de la banda sonora se espera que esta sea acorde con la escena mostrada y que cause la inmersión del espectador en el momento, sería muy extraño que sonase una música épica en una escena triste. No suelo darle mucha importancia a estos apartados debido a que no son un apartado que realmente defina la obra como algo exitoso.
Unlike the previous section, this one can define the quality of the work and of course I am talking about the construction of the world, but what is it? Simple, the construction of the world is how the work establishes the context in which the events unfold and how this can influence the plot, a good construction is defined by the fact that the type of society, beliefs, way of acting are established of civilization, among others, being that the work must locate us and make that world something palpable.
A diferencia del anterior apartado este si puede definir la calidad de la obra y por supuesto hablo de la construcción de mundo pero ¿Qué es? Sencillo, la construcción de mundo es como la obra establece el contexto en el cual se desenvuelven los hechos y como esta puede influenciar la trama, una buena construcción se define por el hecho de que se establezca el tipo de sociedad, creencias, forma de actuar de la civilización, entre otros, siendo que la obra debe ubicarnos y hacer de ese mundo algo palpable.
We reached the halfway point of the analysis section and it seems to me that the plot of the play is at this point, it is basically what moves everything, that story that guides the paths of the protagonists, but what makes a plot good? What should be evaluated from it? This is a somewhat complicated point to evaluate and the one that takes me the most time to review because as such there is no good or bad story, what really matters is how it is told and that it evolves over time since it is watertight will become dull and boring. Although I said that there were no good or bad stories, these can be very simple or also complicated, both extremes can be detrimental to the work since it must know how to explain itself correctly since a story is useless if no one can understand it.
Llegamos al ecuador de la sección del análisis y me parece acorde que en este punto se encuentre la trama de la obra, es básicamente lo que mueve todo, aquella historia que guía los caminos de los protagonistas pero ¿Qué hace buena a una trama? ¿Qué se debe evaluar de ella? Este es un punto algo complicado de evaluar y el que me toma más tiempo reseñar debido a que como tal no existe una buena o mala historia, lo que realmente importa es como se cuenta y que esta evolucione con el pasar del tiempo puesto que si se estanca se tornara sosa y aburrida. Si bien dije que no había historias buenas o malas estas si pueden ser muy simples o también complicadas, ambos extremos pueden ser perjudiciales para la obra puesto que debe saber explicarse correctamente ya que de nada sirve una historia si nadie puede entenderla.
Finally, what I usually analyze are the characters, I consider that the plot is the heart of the work and the characters are its brain because they are the ones who carry out actions that modify the story. A good work must develop its characters, but what is that really? A character development happens when they evolve in one way or another, either by learning from their mistakes, maturing, changing their minds, among others. It is said that a character has three-dimensionality when the story has explored various aspects of these such as their fears, goals, relationships with other people, tastes and others, as I previously spoke of the characters, this section of analysis must be congruent with it. For a character to develop, the events of the story must affect him for better or for worse, a character apathetic to these events will be flat and boring.
Por último lo que suelo analizar son los personajes, considero que la trama es el corazón de la obra y los personajes son su cerebro porque son estos los que ejecutan acciones que modifican la historia. Una buena obra debe desarrollar a sus personajes pero ¿Qué es realmente eso? Un desarrollo de personajes sucede cuando estos evolucionan de una u otra forma bien sea aprendiendo de sus errores, madurando, cambiando de pensamiento, entre otros. Se dice que un personaje tiene tridimensionalidad cuando la historia ha explorado diversos aspectos de estos como sus miedos, metas, relaciones con otras personas, gustos y demás, como previamente hablo de los personajes este apartado de análisis debe ser congruente con ello. Para que un personaje se desarrolle los eventos de la historia deben de afectarlo para bien o para mal, un personaje apático a estos hechos será plano y aburrido.
At this point I usually give a conclusion to the review, obviously this must be in accordance with everything that I raise in the different sections since it would be absurd that in all aspects the work had been regrettable and in the conclusion establish that it was wonderful. Something that I recently started to do and that I highly recommend is that they establish a weighting, this is because the words can become somewhat ambiguous so it is necessary to establish a qualification method, in the different elements they can give a different assessment. I rate the works using stars as follows: Animation and soundtrack 1 star (In case of not having animation it evaluated only the soundtrack), characters 2 stars, plot 2 stars and world construction 2 stars for a total of 7 stars.
Llegado a este punto suelo dar una conclusión a la reseña, obviamente esta debe ser acorde con todo lo que plantee en las diferentes secciones puesto que sería absurdo que en todos los aspectos la obra hubiera sido lamentable y en la conclusión establezca que fue maravillosa. Algo que recientemente empecé a hacer y que recomiendo encarecidamente es que establezcan una ponderación, esto se debe a que las palabras pueden llegar a ser algo ambiguas por lo que hace falta establecer algún método de calificación, en los diferentes elementos pueden darle una valoración diferente yo califico las obras utilizando estrellas de la siguiente forma: Animación y banda sonora 1 estrella (En caso de no tener animación evaluó solo la banda sonora), personajes 2 estrellas, trama 2 estrellas y construcción de mundo 2 estrellas para un total de 7 estrellas.
