Hay algo increíble con este anime, no sé cómo decirlo, pues actualmente con casi todos los animes, aunque los capítulos duren más de media hora, se llega a sentir que no duran casi nada, o que la información importante o relevante que muestran es muy poca, haciendo que se sientan más largo, pero a la vez más cortos, generando una sensación de insatisfacción muy grande, pero Yuri On Ice tiene capítulos cortos, apenas de más de veinte minutos, y aún así, tienen un nivel de perfección que hacen imposible que los capítulos se sientan cortos, termina el capítulo, no te das cuenta, y sientes que ha pasado una hora de lo nutritivo que ha sido el capítulo, de lo divertido, emocionante, y totalmente gay que es, es algo que me sigue maravillando, porque llegué a creer en un principio que se me harían demasiado corto los capítulos y uno, se me hizo muy corta la serie con tan solo doce capítulos, eso sí fue lo que mñas trizteza me dio, que se acabara.
Hay algo que me sorpendió mucho y que no quería creer, pero sí fue cierto, hace mucho tiempo en una reseña de una página que sigo, decían que al principio de la serie se hacían muchos comentarios gordofóbicos, y siempre creí que lo estaban inventando porque fue el único lugar donde leí algo al respecto, entonces mi sorpresa fue muy grande cuando comencé a ver la serie y de repente salían comentarios gordofóbicos de la nada hacia Yuri, porque sí, Yuri después de perder la competencia se comió todo el peso de sus sentimientos de fracaso, y engordó, y se entiende que para que tenga un nivel de rendimiento muy alto tenía que perder peso para que pudiera entrar de nuevo a competir en plenas condiciones, pero no es que solo le dijeran que tenía que perder peso, le hacían burlas y las comparaciones eran simplemente horribles, pero al menos solo se hicieron durante los primeros capítulos y ya después no se hizo ningún otro comentario de ese tipo, porque si no, el anime sería horrible por completo.
