Hoy les vengo a hablar de uno de los shows de TV que más me gustan. Se llama La Resistencia y que se emite por 0# de Movistar Plus+.
Today I come to talk about one of the TV shows that I like the most. It is called La Resistencia (The resistance) and it is broadcasted on 0# Movistar Plus+.
Es un late night español,que podríamos llamarle "peculiar". Su presentador, David Broncano, dota al programa de un particular matiz donde el caos es orden. Su aparente falta de preparación a la hora de enfrentar a los invitados, así como rozar a veces hasta lo absurdo, creando situaciones que dejan el vilo al pobre entrevistado, ya son una marca de este show con un humor que se mueve entre lo ¨muy ácido¨ y lo inocente. Con prácticamente ninguna restricción de lenguaje... o de casi nada!😝, a pesar de ser televisión nacional, pocas son las cosas que uno pensaría, que no se podrían hacer en La Resistencia.
It is a Spanish late night, which we could call "peculiar". Its host, David Broncano, gives the program a particular nuance where chaos is order. His apparent lack of preparation when confronting the guests, as well as sometimes bordering on the absurd, creating situations that leave the poor interviewee in suspense, are already a trademark of this show with a humor that moves between the ¨very acid¨ and the innocent. With practically no language restrictions.... or almost nothing! 😝, despite being national television, there are few things that one would think that could not be done in La Resistencia.
Eso sí, siempre con mucho respeto, David trata a las personas que pasan por su ya ripiado sofá. Aun cuando les propone orinar en un baño público montado insitu dentro del escenario, les electrocuta con un aparatito, o cuando les pregunta cuántas veces tuvo relaciones sexuales en el último mes y cuánto dinero tiene en el banco. Estas dos, son las preguntas clásicas del programa y que ni siquiera siempre se hacen, pues es muchas veces el público quién lo pide a viva voz. ¡Cierto! El programa se desarrolla en pleno Teatro Príncipe Gran Vía de Madrid. ¡Con listas de esperas para poder entrar de meses!!!
Of course, always with great respect, David treats the people who pass by his already ripped couch. Even when he asks them to pee in a public bathroom set up on the stage, or when he asks them how many times he had sex in the last month and how much money he has in the bank. These two are the classic questions of the program and they are not even always asked, since it is often the audience who asks them out loud. True! The program takes place in the middle of the Teatro Príncipe Gran Vía in Madrid, with waiting lists of months to enter!

Cuenta con un reparto espectacular, y sobre el plató siempre podrás encontrar a David, como presentador principal y director, pero también a un lado del escenario se ubican Marcos Martínez, «Grison» Beatboxer y músico, y Ricardo Castella, que además de otro de los directores del programa, es guionista, actor, músico, presentador y humorista.
Esos son los tres fijos sobre escenario, ahora, Jorge Ponce, otro de los directores del programa junto a Ricardo y David, hace apariciones en casi todos los shows con entrevistas y propuestas ridículas en medio de la calle, o tocando temas complejos delante de una pantalla verde tales como la física cuántica, obviamente todo entremezclado con altas dosis de humor lleno de mordacidad.
El programa siempre comienza con la entrada de David a través del público, donde recibe, a medida que avanza, tanto, regalos, como insultos y piropos, que luego se debaten y dan participación a quien dijera algo que haya llamado la atención. Se abren algunos regalos y en alguna ocasión estos son promoción gratuita, sobre todo a pequeños comercios de pueblos que la cadena Movistar permite.
Constantemente se juega como retando también a la cadena Movistar+, a cuáles marcas se pueden decir y cuáles no... mencionándolas!🤣... y provocando risas... y pitidos y píxeles para bloquearlas el emitirse por TV. Como en uno de los últimos programas donde Ponce salió con un Mickey Mouse como regalo a la invitada, y disfrazado como Buzz Lightyear de Toy Story ©, siendo Disney una de las compañias que más protege sus derechos de autor.
It has a spectacular cast, and on the set you can always find David, as main presenter and director, but also on one side of the stage are Marcos Martinez, "Grison" Beatboxer and musician, and Ricardo Castella, who besides being another of the directors of the program, is a screenwriter, actor, musician, presenter and comedian.
Those are the three regulars on stage, now, Jorge Ponce, another of the directors of the program along with Ricardo and David, makes appearances in almost every show with interviews and ridiculous proposals in the middle of the street, or touching on complex issues in front of a green screen such as quantum physics, obviously all interspersed with high doses of humor full of causticity.
The program always begins with David's entrance through the audience, where he receives, as he progresses, gifts, insults and compliments, which are then debated and give participation to whoever said something that caught his attention. Some gifts are opened and sometimes these are free promotion, especially to small stores in towns that the Movistar chain allows.
They constantly play as challenging also the Movistar+ channel, to which brands can be said and which not... mentioning them!🤣... and provoking laughter... and beeps and pixels to block them from being broadcasted on TV. As in one of the last programs where Ponce came out with a Mickey Mouse as a gift to the guest, and disguised as Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story ©, being Disney one of the companies that protects its copyrights the most.

Entre los colaboradores habituales del programa, podemos encontrar a Candela Peña, Pablo Ibarburu, Sergio Bezos, Yunez Chaib, Ingrid García-Jonsson, y el muy carismático Boris Izaguirre, que nos presentan generalmente el ya habitual monólogo en este formato televisivo. Monólogo muchísimas veces atropellado por David y su particular humor que más que restar aporta vitalidad y movimiento a esos minutos.
Among the regular collaborators of the program, we can find Candela Peña, Pablo Ibarburu, Sergio Bezos, Yunez Chaib, Ingrid García-Jonsson, and the very charismatic Boris Izaguirre, who usually present the usual monologue in this television format. A monologue many times run over by David and his particular humor that rather than detracting from the vitality and movement of those minutes.

La esencia del programa, está un poco dirigida a la ruptura de normas y etiquetas, a no callar casi nada y hacer de casi todo. Invitar no solo a celebrities sino también personajes completamente desconocidos, e incluso a algunos borrados del panorama público por "indeseables".
La resistencia presenta un nuevo tipo de entrevistas, una manera refrescante y a la vez incisiva de conocer aspectos del panorama mundial y español en cuanto a música, televisión, cine, teatro, deportes, en fin. Una gama amplísima de personajes que pasan por sus ya más de 600 programas.
The essence of the program is a bit directed to the breaking of rules and labels, to silence almost nothing and to do almost everything. Inviting not only celebrities but also completely unknown characters, and even some of them erased from the public scene as "undesirable".

Uno de los últimos que vi, estuvo protagonizado por el deportista español Juancho Hernagomez. Jugador de basquetbol de la NBA y coprotagonista junto a Adam Sandler, de una peli de Netflix que ahora mismo está causando furor y que les recomiendo ver: Hustle, su nombre original, o Garra, como decidieron llamarla en español, nombre que además David criticó al principio y que ya luego admitió que no le parecía tannn mal.
One of the last ones I saw was starring the Spanish athlete Juancho Hernagomez. NBA basketball player and co-star with Adam Sandler, of a Netflix movie that is causing a furor right now and that I recommend you to watch: Hustle, its original name, or Garra, as they decided to call it in Spanish, a name that David criticized at the beginning and later admitted that he didn't think it was so bad.

Si quieres pasar un buen rato entretenido, con algo diferente a lo que habitualmente vemos como formato de programas de entrevistas, e incluso shows humorísticos, si te gusta la ironía, el sarcasmo y el humor negro, este es sin duda un programa para tí.
If you want to have a good and entertaining time, with something different from what we usually see as a talk show format, and even comedy shows, if you like irony, sarcasm and black humor, this is definitely a program for you.
