Hello all of you dear Movies & TV Shows community members, my good friend @daltono commented on my Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind post and while we were talking, he told me that he loved a movie called The Bad Batch. He gave some hints about the cast and frankly, I started to look forward to watching the movie. I watched the movie 2 days ago and I am looking forward to reviewing it. I usually wait 2 days before reviewing the movie so that I can think about the movie and comment on it. I'm very excited about this movie. Let's get started!
Introduction
The movie was released in 2016 and there is another movie with the same name. The movie belonging to Star Wars is not our subject. I don't think everyone has seen this movie, but if you are looking for a movie that you have never seen before, you can watch this movie. The movie has been translated into many languages and you can find subtitles. I watched it in English and I liked the voiceovers very much.
Description
At the beginning of the movie we find Suki Waterhouse as Arlen walking in the desert. Exactly like in the photo above. She walks for hours and someone comes and catches him. They take her somewhere and tie her up. From here on, it might make you a little bit uncomfortable. They cut off Arlen's right arm and right leg. If you wonder why they do this, it's for eating. That made me a little bit sick too. After waiting like that for days, Arlen thinks of something to escape and gets dirty. I won't tell you how he gets dirty, but he kills the woman who was holding him while he was bathing and she escapes. The method of escape seemed a bit strange to me. She lies down on a skateboard and pushes herself like that.

After going like that for a very long time, she runs out of strength and faints. The vultures come for her. At this point, Jim Carrey arrives as The Hermit. I can't go without mentioning Jim Carrey's incredible acting. Even though he doesn't speak at all throughout the movie, he shows how good an actor he is. You can see how natural and characteristic he plays in all the scenes. Hermit picks her up in his little car and takes her to a place called Dream. People there seem to live in peace.

Arlen occasionally goes out and wanders around to get revenge. One day she goes out and finds the wife or girlfriend of the man who was the leader of the people who kidnapped her and cut off her arm and leg. This man is Jason Momoa as Miami Man. The woman also has a little girl with her, whom Miami Man cares about very much. Even though she begs her, Arlen shoots her and takes the child with her. She gives the child a rabbit to make her feel better and tells her to protect it.

There is a regular event at Dream where people take pills and get high. They make it look like a good thing. Dream is actually the name of a man. And that man is Keanu Reeves. Arlen also attends this event. She gets high and loses the child. The boy goes to Dream and Dream takes him with him. (Here, countless scenarios went through my head but none of them came true 😅) Arlen tries to look for the boy while high but he gets too far away from Dream and gets lost. Miami Man finds him and asks her about the girl. Arlen says she doesn't know where she is and pretends she never saw her. Miami Man tells her to find the girl and bring her to him or he will kill her.

Arlen leaves and starts asking around for the girl but no one says they have seen her. They probably wouldn't remember if they did because they were high 😂. Arlen sees the girl next to Dream at the next event and goes to Dream and starts talking to him to save the girl. Somehow he takes the pregnant woman next to Dream hostage and releases her in exchange for the girl. He takes the girl and takes her to Miami Man. I won't spoil the end of the movie for you, it will be better for you to watch the rest and see it.
Opinions
I can say that the cast of the movie is very good but the movie is not as good as the cast. If the cast is 9.5/10, the movie is 7/10. The thing that attracted my attention the most in the movie was Arlen's escape on a skateboard. So you have to be caught 100 times before you escape on a skateboard. That part seemed a bit unrealistic.
The movie left me with a lot of uncertainties. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Who left Arlen in that desert, why did he leave him there, how did the Dream community form, who kidnapped Arlen and cut off his leg and arm, and why are they doing this? If you know the answers to these questions, you can write in the comments.

Conclusion
If you like mystery, this is definitely a movie you should watch. It makes you wonder many things. The cast and acting are great.
