Antes de empezar con las nuevas producciones que tengo pendiente, quería hablarles de uno de mis k-dramas favoritos, no sé porqué no se los había recomendado antes, pero aquí les hablaré más a detalle sobre esta producción que me encantó:

🍿 Porque esta es mi primera vez | Because this is my first life
| Es una serie surcoreana del año 2017 dirigida por Park Joon-hwa y protagonizada por: Lee Min-ki Jung So-min, Kim Ga-eun, Kim Min-seok,Park Byung-eun, Esom, entre otros. Consta de 16 capítulos de 60 min aproximadamente cada uno y está disponible en la plataforma Netflix. | It is a 2017 South Korean series directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring: Lee Min-ki Jung So-min, Kim Ga-eun, Kim Min-seok,Park Byung-eun, Esom, among others. | Se-Hee es un hombre soltero que tiene una casa pero está lleno de deudas, y decide no entablar relaciones amorosas, pero esto cambia cuando su compañera de cuarto Ji-ho quién también tiene muchos problemas financieros llega a un acuerdo con él para casarse y así solventarlos. Lo que les permitirá experimentar lo que es el matrimonio en esta era. | Se-Hee is a single man who has a house but is full of debts, and decides not to enter into love relationships, but this changes when his roommate Ji-ho who also has many financial problems comes to an agreement with him to get married to solve them. | Se-Hee es hijo único, y es súper inteligente, lo que le permite trabajar en la empresa de su amigo y solicitar un préstamo para comprar la casa en la que vive, por lo que hace un plan a largo plazo (+20 años ), para poder pagarlo. Por lo que decide buscar un compañero de cuarto y cuando Ji-ho supera sus expectativas decide que es la indicada (aunque al principio no la conocía físicamente). | Se-Hee is an only child, and is super smart, which allows him to work in his friend's company and apply for a loan to buy the house he lives in, so he makes a long term plan (+20 years ), to be able to pay for it. 🎬 Lo bueno y lo no tan bueno | The good and the not so good
| Yo amé está serie, al principio pensé que sería el típico cliché de los compañeros de cuarto que terminan enamorados y no, me topé con una producción más madura que refleja la idea del matrimonio, la vida adulta, las demandas económicas, la familia, las demandas laborales y las realidades personales desde tres perspectivas diferentes tomando en cuenta las relaciones de los amigos de los protagonistas y su vida personal. También toca temas fuertes de la sociedad coreana como el sexismo, el acoso, el machismo, y lo difícil que es vivir a la sombra de una familia "tradicional", que se rige bajo reglas patriarcales. | I loved this series, at first I thought it would be the typical cliché of roommates who end up falling in love and no, I found a more mature production that reflects the idea of marriage, adult life, economic demands, family, work demands and personal realities from three different perspectives taking into account the relationships of the main characters' friends and their personal lives. It also touches on strong themes in Korean society such as sexism, bullying, machismo, and how difficult it is to live in the shadow of a "traditional" family, which is governed by patriarchal rules. |

| La historia está muy bien desarrollada, y no solo la de los protagonistas, sino también la de las parejas secundarias y otros personajes, ya que logran brillar con luz propia porque se les dió el tiempo y la atención necesarias sin opacar la principal. Básicamente el mensaje está en su título, y es que al ser nuestra primera y única vida nosotros debemos decidir cómo queremos vivirla sin sentir la presión de la sociedad y las reglas sociales. | The story is very well developed, not only that of the main characters, but also that of the secondary couples and other characters, since they manage to shine with their own light because they were given the necessary time and attention without overshadowing the main one. Basically the message is in its title, and is that being our first and only life we must decide how we want to live it without feeling the pressure of society and social rules. |

| Me reí bastante, y también lloré porque le dan énfasis a la relación de la protagonista con su mamá y como la aconseja para que no cometa sus mismos errores 😭. También amé como Se-Hee no dudó al enfrentarse a su padre y no dejarse llevar por sus opiniones egoístas, y enfocadas en el qué dirán que una vez interfirieron en su vida amorosa años antes. En síntesis, desde la química de los actores, el guión, la puesta en escena, la historia, la música y otras razones, hacen de este uno de los mejores k-dramas de este género en mi opinión. | I laughed a lot, and I also cried because they emphasize the main character's relationship with her mom and how she advises her not to make the same mistakes 😭. I also loved how Se-Hee didn't hesitate to stand up to her father and not be swayed by his selfish, what-if opinions that once interfered with her love life years before. In summary, from the chemistry of the actors, the script, the staging, the story, the music and other reasons, make this one of the best k-dramas of this genre in my opinion. |
