The action genre has been a staple of Hollywood moviemaking since the days of silent film. These movies have entertained audiences for decades and brought in billions at the box office. 10. In Time (2011)
Will Salas is a poor guy who rarely has more than a day's worth of life on his time clock in a future where time is money and the privileged can live forever. Will receives the gift of a century after saving Henry Hamilton from time thieves. However, such a significant transaction draws the attention of the authorities, and Will is forced to flee with a wealthy man's daughter.
09. Warrior (2011)
The story is about two ex-Marine brothers who are struggling to get their own martial arts school off the ground. They run into trouble when a local gangster wants them to fight in an underground fighting tournament - for real, this time - and they have to decide whether or not they want to fight for real or just play it safe.

Directed by Clint Eastwood, this film is an adaptation of Chris Kyle's autobiography. The story follows Kyle, who has just returned home after four tours in Iraq. He decides to become a sniper and quickly becomes the most successful sniper in American history. His fellow soldiers are extremely resentful of his success, so he turns to alcohol to cope with his PTSD. However, he soon starts to lose himself as his personal life collapses around him.

When Lucy, a young girl with no direction in life, is tricked into delivering a package to an unknown business man by her boyfriend, she becomes the victim of kidnapping and human experimentation. She is implanted with a package containing a powerful chemical that leaks into her system. This gives her superhuman abilities such as telekinesis and telepathy.
