Estaba un reacio a ver esta nueva versión de Los Padrinos Mágicos, ya que algunos meses atrás, había desatado algunas polémicas por el trato que se le dió al personaje principal de la franquicia, Timmy Turner, viendo su peor versión adulta, así mismo, la selección de la nueva ahijada fue algo que no gustó en primera instancia, por todo la onda woke que ha bañado las nuevas producciones del cine o la televisión.
I was reluctant to see this new version of The Fairly OddParents, since a few months ago, it had sparked some controversies due to the treatment given to the main character of the franchise, Timmy Turner, seeing his worst adult version, likewise, the Selection of the new goddaughter was something that was not liked at first, due to all the woke vibe that has bathed the new film or television productions.
El trato previo que se le había dado a la creación de Butch Hartman no fue ninde cerca el mejor, pues la serie original se fue hundiendo poco a poco con el pasar de las temporadas, integrando a nuevos personajes como Poof, Sparky el perro mágico o Chloe Carmichael, la segunda ahijada de Cosmo y Wanda, que terminaría compartiendo los padrinos con Timmy, que hicieron que se perdiera el sentido de la serie. Incluso buscaron intentar revivir la serie con un live action combinado con la digitalizacion de Cosmo y Wanda, que realmente fue un desastre, y eso que no mencionó las películas interpretadas por Drake Bell, aunque estas fueros previas a la caída tan marcada de la calidad.

Con todo eso en mente, empecé a ver la serie sin demasiadas expectativas, y aunque no he terminado de ver todos los capítulos de la primera temporada, lo que he visto por los momentos me ha gustado, pues la historia de la nueva protagonista, Hanzel Wells, una niña de 10 años, ha sido bien pensada, dándole una personalidad diferente a la de Timmy, pero no por esto es peor, ya que desde un inicio la desarrollan y la mantienen con el paso de los episodios.
With all that in mind, I started watching the series without too many expectations, and although I have not finished watching all the episodes of the first season, I liked what I have seen so far, because the story of the new protagonist, Hanzel Wells, a 10-year-old girl, has been well thought out, giving her a different personality than Timmy, but this does not make her worse, since from the beginning she is developed and maintained as the episodes go by.
A diferencia de la primera serie, donde la mayoría de los episodios eran autoconclusivos, en esta han intentado llevar más una secuencia de los hechos, volviéndole a dar peso a elementos de los inicios, como Las Reglas, que limitan varios de los deseos o hace que tanto Cosmo y Wanda tengan que ingeniarlas un poco más para cumplirlos, viendo también como muchas se vieron modificadas por los deseos que pidió Timmy. Un ejemplo seria que ahora todo deseo relativo al tiempo, primero debe pasar con el mago del tiempo para poderse conceder, dado por los múltiples desastres ocasionados por el chico de gorra rosa.
Unlike the first series, where most of the episodes were self-contained, in this one they have tried to have more of a sequence of events, giving weight again to elements from the beginning, such as The Rules, which limit several of the desires or make that both Cosmo and Wanda have to invent a little more to fulfill them, also seeing how many were modified by the wishes that Timmy asked for. An example would be that now every wish related to time must first pass with the time wizard in order to be granted, given the multiple disasters caused by the boy in the pink cap.
Por lo menos, en el primer episodio vemos como Hazel se mudó a nueva ciudad, y luego de esperar con muchas ansias la visita de su hermano, este no puede asistir, por lo que decide huir de casa para buscarlo, pero estaba siendo observada por Cosmo y Wanda, quienes se habían retirado de ser padrinos mágicos, por lo que deciden seguirla para cuidarla y volver así nuevamente al trabajo. La transforman en una mosca, y luego de una conversación con una hormiga, esta decide volver a casa.

También otros humanos estarán en el show, como la malvada niñera Vicky, el amigo de Timmy, AJ, o el profesor Crocker.

Ya por último, la imagen del Timmy adulto fracasado que generó tanta polémica al parecer no es él, viéndolo como conserje de la escuela y como conductor de autobús, siendo llamado por los productores como Not Timmy, y esto ha creado múltiples teorías, como que son los Timmy sueltos de los episodios piloto, y cosas así por el estilo. Para ver al Timmy original tendremos que esperar, pues al parecer, los productores no lo incluyeron en la serie en esta primera temporada.
Finally, the image of the failed adult Timmy that generated so much controversy is apparently not him, seeing him as a school janitor and a bus driver, being called by the producers as Not Timmy, and this has created multiple theories, such as that They're the loose Timmy from the pilot episodes, and things like that. To see the original Timmy we will have to wait, since apparently the producers did not include him in the series in this first season.
