¡Hola amigos! Hoy les traigo mi reseña acerca de la segunda temporada de El señor de los anillos: Los anillos de poder que ya se encuentra completa y la pude terminar de ver hace poco. Sé que esta serie no es del agrado de muchos, pero no deja de ser interesante ver qué rumbo tomará. Bueno, empecemos.
Hello friends! Today I bring you my review about the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power which is now complete and I was able to finish watching it recently. I know this series is not liked by many, but it's still interesting to see what direction it will take. Well, let's get started.

Ya todos están al tanto del regreso de Sauron y este deja claro sus intenciones de retomar el control y hacerse con toda la Tierra Media. Para ello, se encarga de la supervisión de anillos de poder creados por el elfo Celebrimbor que serán entregados a todos los pueblos que viven en esta tierra, 3 para los elfos, 7 para los enanos y 9 para los humanos. Sin embargo, Adar, el que lo derrocó en el pasado y ahora comanda a los orcos va tras su destrucción, y también la comandante Galadriel junto con sus aliados. Toda la Tierra Media está en caos, mientras el Istar va en busca de su identidad junto a sus amigas las pelosas, los mortales de Númenor se encuentran en una crisis de traiciones y el pueblo de los enanos fue sepultado bajo la montaña que es su casa.
By now everyone is aware of Sauron's return and he makes clear his intentions to regain control and take over all of Middle-earth. To do this, he is in charge of the supervision of rings of power created by the elf Celebrimbor that will be delivered to all the peoples living in this land, 3 for the elves, 7 for the dwarves and 9 for humans. However, Adar, the one who overthrew him in the past and now commands the orcs is after his destruction, and so is the commander Galadriel along with her allies. All Middle-earth is in chaos, while the Istar goes in search of his identity together with his friends the hairy ones, the mortals of Númenor are in a crisis of betrayals and the people of the dwarves were buried under the mountain that is their home.

A decir verdad, esperaba ansiosa esta temporada porque la primera me había gustado bastante pese a todo. Esto de tener que esperar dos años es agotador, pero bueno, es lo que hay. Ahora bien, siento que sí fue una temporada algo floja en comparación, pero al mismo tiempo fue creciendo con cada capítulo, los últimos me gustaron bastante.
To tell the truth, I was looking forward to this season because I liked the first one quite a lot despite everything. Having to wait two years is exhausting, but well, it is what it is. Now, I feel that it was a somewhat weak season in comparison, but at the same time it was growing with each chapter, the last ones I liked quite a lot.
Aunque es cierto que algunas tramas o giros se me hacían innecesarios o aburridos, creo que logró un buen cierre al final con la batalla entre los orcos y los elfos, y la vuelta de Sauron a tomar el control de sus bestias, por decirlo de alguna manera. Pero hay otras cosas que no terminaron de cerrarme, como el final tan patético que le dieron a Adar, encima nunca se entendió lo que pretendía, ¿era malo o bueno? No sé llegó a comprender en su totalidad. Los orcos me daban risa en las decisiones que tomaron, primero llorando con que no querían volver al mando de Sauron y luego haciendo todo lo contrario.
Although it is true that some plots or twists were unnecessary or boring, I think it achieved a good closure at the end with the battle between the orcs and the elves, and the return of Sauron to take control of his beasts, so to speak. But there are other things that didn't end up closing for me, like the pathetic ending they gave to Adar, on top of that I never understood what he was trying to do, was he bad or good? I don't know if it was good or bad. The orcs made me laugh at the decisions they made, first crying that they didn't want to return to Sauron's command and then doing the opposite.

Leí que muchos se quejaron de que el Istar estuvo toda la temporada dando vuelta a algo que es de público conocimiento, conocer su identidad. Pero se olvidan que si alguien no vio las películas, ni leyó los libros es algo de lo que no está al tanto así que me parece bien que lo desarrollarán así. Aparte me gusta su trama y amo a las pelosas, para mí no aparecieron lo suficiente en esta temporada, pero gustos son gustos.
I read that many complained that the Istar was the whole season spinning something that is common knowledge, knowing his identity. But they forget that if someone didn't see the movies, nor read the books it's something they are not aware of so I'm fine with them developing it that way. Besides I like their plot and I love the hairy ones, for me they didn't appear enough in this season, but tastes are tastes.

Algo que me agrado que aparecieran fueron los Ents, se vieron muy geniales, me gustó su caracterización. También estuvo muy buena la escena con el rey de los enanos combatiendo con ese monstruo que se encontraba abajo en la montaña, muy buen trabajo de producción en general.
Something that I liked that they appeared were the Ents, they looked very cool, I liked their characterization. The scene with the king of the dwarves fighting with that monster that was down in the mountain was also very good, very good production work in general.
Otra cosa que me gustó y quiero destacar es el crecimiento de Elrond, no sé que le dieron en esta temporada, pero es un sí a todo. Fue mi personaje favorito en esta segunda temporada, supo ser fiel a sus convicciones y nunca se dejó manipular ni actuar en algo que no creyera. Un gran personaje.
Another thing I liked and want to highlight is Elrond's growth, I don't know what they gave him in this season, but he is a yes to everything. He was my favorite character in this second season, he knew how to be true to his convictions and never let himself be manipulated or act in something he didn't believe in. A great character.

Si les soy sincera, a mí sí me gustaría seguir viendo más de esta serie, sobre todo ahora que dejan esos finales abiertos para que a uno le agarre curiosidad por saber qué sucederá. Aunque hay que ver si se da.
To be honest, I would like to continue watching more of this series, especially now that they leave those open endings to make you curious to know what will happen. Although we'll have to see if it happens.
