Para empezar, podemos ver que desde el título el protagonismo está dirigido hacia la ejecutora del crimen, donde ella trata de contar la otra parte que desconocemos o al menos su versión de los hechos.

Esta serie está basada en echos de la vida real. Está narrada desde la versión de la protagonista y los familiares, mas que el género de la serie que es un documental.

Para mí como fan de Selena se me hace muy difícil hacer este review, pero se trata de contar la experiencia viendo la serie, al menos los primeros episodios, este primer episodio es como un resumen, una recopilación de las cosas que sucedieron, a mitad de la película comienzan a soltar el trenzado y la maraña que quizás desconocemos.

No se trata de juzgar, la vida de las personas, los hechos, recordemos que no somos jueces, no somos Dios, el juez trata de apegarse a las leyes y a las pruebas, nosotros solo escuchamos los hechos... Es difícil ver algo que te afecta de alguna manera sin emitir juicios, asi que tan solo me dediqué a ver, cómo el paso del tiempo, los sentimientos de culpa y todo aquello, han influido en la vida de Yolanda, la expresión en su rostro, por otro lado recordando el dolor de todos, familiares y amigos por la ausencia física de nuestra cantante.

To begin with, we can see that from the title the protagonism is directed towards the executor of the crime, where she tries to tell the other side that we don't know or at least her version of the facts.

This series is based on real life events. It is narrated from the version of the protagonist and family members, rather than the genre of the series which is a documentary.

For me as a Selena fan it is very difficult to make this review, but it is about telling the experience watching the series, at least the first episodes, this first episode is like a summary, a compilation of the things that happened, halfway through the film they begin to release the braid and the tangle that perhaps we do not know.

It is not about judging, people's lives, the facts, let's remember that we are not judges, we are not God, the judge tries to stick to the laws and the evidence, we only listen to the facts.... It is difficult to see something that affects you in some way without making judgments, so I just dedicated myself to see how the passage of time, the feelings of guilt and all that, have influenced Yolanda's life, the expression on her face, on the other hand remembering the pain of all, family and friends for the physical absence of our singer.

Según he podido ver desde mi experiencia, que el ser humano cuando es acorralado puede reaccionar de varias formas, nunca se sabe todos somos diferentes, muchos entran modo supervivencia, se defienden, muchos se quedan paralizados y pues, abrazan la muerte, otros sencillamente maquinan la escena con lujo de detalles como grandes maestros escapistas.

Ella dice me obligaron, recordando que para capturarla pasaron muchas horas, los oficiales estaban agotados y cuando fue capturada el proceso también fue desgastante, todos querían acabar con ello, la presión de la familia, los medios, los fans...

Aun recuerdo claramente, todo me fue traumático porque lo presencié desde las pantallas de la televisión como el fallecimiento traumático del corredor Ayrton Senna de la que también fui su fan y no me perdía las carreras de Formula 1, hasta ese fatídico día de su deceso, sin embargo, con Selena, su legado, nos dejó su voz, sus canciones, sigue en nuestros corazones.

Es muy difícil seguir la historia porque hay muchas contradicciones, entre las declaraciones de Yolanda y las grabaciones de ella cuando estaba en la camioneta.

Solo había una supuesta acusación de robo o desviación de dinero, Selena estaba en banca rota y se le pedían pruebas a Yolanda ya que en ella recaía la responsabilidad. Ahora el día del deceso, se dice que salió con las pruebas en la mano en un maletín, pero de eso nadie se hablo.

Según la acusada, todo estuvo dirigido al asesinato de Selena mas no de la historia que la culpabilizaban por algo que ella alegaba inocencia. Le dolía perder la confianza y la amistad de Selena, para el resto, ella aceptaba la culpa de disparar el arma, pero alegando que fue accidente...

Para mi es curioso esto porque he leído en tantas otras cosas sobre el asunto, muchas contradicciones, hasta que fue en defensa propia... Como si la cantante hubiera amenazado a la acusada, el único hecho que conocemos en la historia en esta primera entrega es: Que nuestra querida Selena ya no está entre nosotros.

For me this is curious because I have read in so many other things about the matter, many contradictions, even that it was in self-defense? As if the singer had threatened the accused, the only fact we know in the story in this first installment is: That our beloved Selena is no longer among us.

Durante toda la serie vas a ver cortes de escenas tomadas de la vida real, desde los hechos que fueron capturados por distintos medios de información, muchos con fallas de origen, muchos con una calidad muy baja.

Aun no puedo discernir si la acusada solo quiere contar su versión de los hechos, limpiar su imagen o rendir honor a quien fue su amiga o demostrar que una familia tan perfecta no lo era perfecta después de todo.

Yolanda pensó en quitarse la vida, pero terminó quitándole la vida a otra persona que le pesa toda su vida. Lo único que podemos ver como moraleja, que las armas atraen violencia, deben ser usadas y tenerlas con mucha responsabilidad. Las armas no se disparan solas, hay que halar del gatillo... ¿Cómo pudo ser un accidente? Haló el gatillo sin mucha lucidez mental y responsabilidad.

Yolanda thought about taking her own life, but ended up taking the life of another person who weighs on her whole life. The only moral we can see is that guns attract violence, they should be used and held with a lot of responsibility. Guns do not fire by themselves, you have to pull the trigger? Tomo la serie como esas que acostumbraba a ver de casos policíacos, sin embargo, aquí todo parece una suposición y hasta ahora, como las películas que he visto, no hay una conclusión satisfactoria. Hay muchas piezas del rompecabezas que faltan.

Si hablamos de este hecho de la vida real, nadie tiene derecho de quitarle la vida a otra persona, sin embargo las leyes amparan a la persona cuando actúa en defensa propia si la otra persona pone en riesgo su vida.

Tal vez lo único que podría criticar "de la serie" de esta primera parte es la mala actuación de la sobrina de Yolanda quien actúa como narradora o defensora de la parte acusada. En muchas escenas confunde, ¿Se reía o lloraba? ¿Será una expresión natural en su rostro?

Acerca de las actuaciones del resto de personajes, me pareció acorde. La serie en esta primera entrega está ambientada en mas en esas peliculas o series que vemos de hechos delictivos, mas que una novela, mas que ficción, mas que una biografía.

Quisiera contar más pero ya sería spoiler.

Esta serie no fue autorizada por los familiares de Selena, por lo cual se estiman cargos contra la protagonista que es Yolanda y la autora del crimen, en varios cortes podemos ver imágenes y videos de la cantante en vida, así como su voz.

I take the series as those I used to watch of police cases, however, here it all seems like guesswork and so far, like the movies I've seen, there is no satisfactory conclusion. There are many pieces of the puzzle missing.

If we talk about this real life event, no one has the right to take the life of another person, however the laws protect the person when acting in self-defense if the other person puts his or her life at risk.

Perhaps the only thing I could criticize “of the series” of this first part is the bad acting of Yolanda's niece who acts as narrator or defender of the accused. In many scenes she confuses, was she laughing or crying, is it a natural expression on her face?

About the performances of the rest of the characters, I thought it was in line. The series in this first installment is set more in those movies or series that we see of criminal events, more than a novel, more than fiction, more than a biography.

I would like to tell you more but that would be a spoiler.

This series was not authorized by Selena's family, so charges against the protagonist who is Yolanda and the author of the crime are estimated, in several cuts we can see images and videos of the singer in life, as well as her voice.
