Already sick and tired of what Marvel proposes in its MCU I wanted to see Loki, because it caught my attention that most of the opinions I read, because I didn't care about spoilers since I didn't intend to see it, is that it is a series that perfectly works apart from everything else, or at least from the most recent stories and that its last episode is a genius, worth watching despite all the failures of Marvel, and I must say that after finishing it, I completely agree, so first before giving my opinion I leave here my own synopsis.
Cansado del MCU de Marvel el episodio final de Loki me callo la boca
Ya casi harto de lo que propone Marvel en su MCU quise ver Loki, porque me llamó la atención que la mayoría de las opiniones que leía, porque no me importaban los spoiler ya que no la pretendía ver, es que es una serie que perfectamente funciona aparte de todo lo demás, o por lo menos de las historias mas recientes y que su ultimo episodio es una genialidad, que merece la pena ver a pesar de todos los fracasos de Marvel, y debo decir que luego de finalizarlo, coincido completamente, por eso primero antes de dar mi opinion dejo acá mi propia sinopsis.
Synopsis of the last episode of the second season | SPOILER ALERT
After the assassination of Kang the conqueror the timelines get out of control, exceeding their number that Loki and those who accompany him can not control, since the machine loom that works to control the timelines does not have such capacity. In the midst of the chaos Loki learns to control his time jumps, during the season we see him appear uncontrollably between the past, present and future.
Sinopsis del ultimo episodio de la segunda temporada
Luego del asesinato de Kang el conquistador las líneas temporales se salen de control, excediendo su número que Loki y quienes le acompañan no pueden controlar, ya que el telar máquina que funciona para controlar las líneas del tiempo no cuenta con tal capacidad. En medio del caos Loki aprende a controlar sus saltos temporales, durante la temporada le vemos aparecen sin control entre el pasado, presente y futuro.
The final episode could well say that it is the best of the season, I confess that for a moment I almost fell asleep during the previous chapters, but I trusted all those who said that the end was worth it, precisely in that episode we see how Loki decides to go back in time to the moment where everything goes out of control when it comes to repair the loom that controls the timelines.
El episodio final bien podría decir que es el mejor de la temporada, confieso que por momento casi me duermo durante los capítulos anteriores, pero confiaba en todos aquellos que aseguraban que bien el final valía la pena, precisamente en ese episodio vemos como Loki decide regresar en el tiempo al momento donde todo sale de control cuando se trata de reparar el telar que controla las líneas de tiempo.
I found very original the fact that the character of Loki travels many times in time to be able to accumulate the necessary knowledge, and after several centuries, he returns in time to be a third mind that collaborates in the construction of the device that repairs the loom, however despite this effort of centuries, he realizes that he must return in time so that Sylvie, his female variant, does not kill Kang.
Me pareció muy original el hecho de que el personaje de Loki viaje muchas veces en el tiempo para poder acumular el conocimiento necesario, y luego de varios siglos, vuelve en el tiempo al momento para ser una tercera mente que colabora en la construcción del dispositivo que repare el telar, si embargo pese a ese esfuerzo de siglos, se da cuenta que debe volver en el tiempo para que Sylvie su variante femenina no mate a Kang.
Again Loki makes use of time travel and fights with Sylvie countless times so that she does not kill Kang and both can talk, but he fails to stop her and realizes that he can only do it if he kills her, in addition to this Kang reveals that he could always avoid being killed, it was all part of his plan, which leads Loki to travel further back in time until the moment he is captured where he has a revealing conversation with Mobius.
Nuevamente Loki hace uso del viaje en el tiempo y pelea infinidad de veces con Sylvie para que no mate a Kang y ambos puedan conversar, pero no logra detenerla y se da cuenta que solo podrá hacerlo si la mata, sumado a esto Kang le revela que él pudo siempre evitar que lo mataran, todo fue parte de su plan, lo que lleva a Loki viajar mas atrás en el tiempo hasta el momento de es capturado donde tiene una conversación con Mobius reveladora.
It is when he understands that he has 3 major options: kill Sylvie to prevent the expansion of the multiverse, let Kang die so that almost the entire multiverse is destroyed or destroy the loom to completely unleash the multiverse knowing that this would unleash a war between all variants of Kang but at the same time providing the opportunity for each universe to defend itself.
Es cuando entiende que tiene 3 grandes opciones: matar a Sylvie para evitar la expansion del multiverso, dejar que Kang muera para que casi todo el multiverso sea destruido o destruir el telar para desatar por completo el multiverso sabiendo que eso desataría una guerra entre todas las variantes de Kang pero a la vez brindando la oportunidad de que cada universo pueda defenderse.
Loki se decide por la tercera opción, destruir el telar, para eso asume su forma de dios de Asgard, destruye el telar de Kang y desata el multiverso, dándole vida a cada una de las líneas del tiempo y a la vez fusionándose con ellas convirtiéndose así en el dios que controla todas las líneas del tiempo, logrando lo que alguna vez quiso cuando invadió la tierra la primera vez, estar destinado a un propósito glorioso, cosa que logró definitivamente.
Opinion
Something that I didn't appreciate until this final episode of the series is that in the previous episodes there were nuances that hinted at the outcome, but because I was predisposed that this would be another failure of the MCU I didn't pay due attention, but I think this is the first Marvel series that understands well what a series is, its word says it, a succession of events that lead you to an end, and the better its parts are amalgamated, the better the ending will be.
Opinion
Algo que no supe apreciar hasta este episodio final de la serie es que en los episodios anteriores se fueron dando matices que dejaban entrever el desenlace, pero por estar predispuesto a que este sería otro fracaso mas del MCU no preste la debida atención, pero creo que este es la primera serie de Marvel que entiende bien lo que es una serie, su palabra lo dice, una sucesión de acontecimiento que te guían a un final, y entre mejor se amalgaman sus partes, mejor final tendrá.
After realizing this, I analyze it in detail and notice that each episode fulfilled its task of being a micro stories that are told for a great denouement, highlighting scenes where the god characters of Loki and Kang don't have the need to confront each other but to debate with their ideas and intellect to prevail what they want, having to end the life of a loved one for the greater good is another argument that always works very well in the series.
Luego de darme cuenta de esto, lo analizo con detalle y noto que cada episodio cumplio con su tarea de ser una micro historias que se cuenta para un gran desenlace, resaltando escenas donde los personajes de dioses de Loki y Kanf no tienen la necesidad de enfrentarse si no de debatir con sus ideas e intelecto para hacer prevalecer lo que desean, el tener que acabar con la vida de un ser amado en función de un bien mayor es otro argumento que siempre funciona muy bien en las series.
I think it was very good the approach of Loki's great sacrifice that in turn gave him what he always wanted, to be part of something bigger, to see him sit on a throne controlling the loom of the timelines that become a great tree where many universes coexist in harmony, that was memorable, and all this culminates beautifully without the need for a post-credits scene.
Creo que fue muy bueno el planteamiento del gran sacrificio de Loki que a su vez le brindó lo que siempre quiso, ser parte de algo mas grande, verlo sentarse en un trono controlando el telar de las líneas del tiempo que se convierten en un gran árbol donde muchos universos coexiste en armonía, eso les quedo memorable, y todo esto culmina maravillosamente sin la necesidad de una escena post-crédito.
It's a story that doesn't need another story to make it relevant, it's the first MCU series that I think can be watched perfectly on its own without the need to watch a movie or another series to understand a plot, even though Kang is part of other stories just like Loki, this series and its story work perfectly well alone, it feels like something apart because the truth is that most of us already loathe Marvel and its MCU, so I appreciate something that works separately.
Es una historia que no necesita de otra para hacerla relevante, es la primera serie del MCU que creo que se puede ver perfectamente sola sin la necesidad de ver una película u otra serie para entender una trama, aunque Kang sea parte de otras historias al igual que Loki, esta serie y su historia funcionan perfectamente bien solas, se siente como algo aparte porque la verdad que ya la mayoría ya aborrecemos a Marvel y su MCU, por eso agradezco algo que funciona separado.
