Here I am in a new installment of this section where I review each chapter of Mujeres asesinas , the Argentinean series based on real crimes that were carried out by women in different situations of everyday life that led them to such an extreme.

Today, it touches on a rather murky case called: Laura E. Cover-up which at the same time is ... touching? I don't really know how to qualify it but what I do know is that it is more shady than touching and I will give my point of view about it.

Before I start, I warn you that there will be spoilers so if you haven't seen this series, you can stop here although as I always say, the titles of each episode always spoil everything ha,ha,ha,ha.

Heme aquí en una nueva entrega de esta sección donde reseño cada capitulo de Mujeres asesinas , la serie Argentina basada en crímenes reales que fueron llevados a cabo por mujeres en diferentes situaciones de la vida cotidiana que la llevaron a tal extremo.

El día de hoy, toca un caso bastante turbio llamado: Laura E. Encubridora que a la vez es … conmovedor ¿? La verdad no se como calificarlo pero lo que si se, es que es mas turbio que conmovedor y daré mi punto de vista al respecto.

Antes de comenzar, advierto que habrá spoilers así que si no viste esta serie , puedes detenerte aquí aunque como digo siempre, los títulos de cada episodio siempre te spoilean todo ja,ja,ja.

Laura, no longer wanted to know anything about men (because of a very traumatic past) but she met Maxi in a gym and fell madly in love with him so they began their "love story" even though he was about 20 years younger than her. Then, he meets Florencia (18 years old at the time) and thinks it would be fun to hang out with mother and daughter at the same time but, he who plays with fire, ends up getting burned.

La historia se centra en 3 personajes: Maxi (Mariano Martínez) , Florencia (María Abadi) y Laura E. (La hermosísima Laura Bonelli. Si, es muy bella). Entre estos 3 personajes se forma un triángulo amoroso bastante turbio ya que Florencia parece disfrutar ser la amante de Maxi, la pareja de su mama.

Laura, ya no quería saber nada de hombres (Por un tema del pasado bastante traumante) pero conoció a Maxi en un gimnasio y se enamoró perdidamente de el así que comenzaron su "historia de amor" a pesar de que el , era como 20 años menor que ella . Luego, el conoce a Florencia (De 18 años en ese entonces) y cree que seria divertido andar con madre e hija a la vez pero, el que juega con fuego, se termina quemando.

• Review/Reseña:

To begin with, I want to say that the chapter was very good. It kept the mystery of what was really going on. At first you think the two women are going to face each other to the death but, it's something deeper than that. There is a whole tangle of secrets and traumas behind these two women that you don't expect (Well partly yes, because they give glimpses of what happened in their house but you never expect that ending). At least I , the first time I saw it, I thought they would kill Maxi for playing with both of them. The surprise factor of this episode gave it the touch to become one of the best of the series.

Another factor that makes it one of the best, is the depth of the theme as it is not the typical cliché love triangle story. Florencia, is not with Maxi because she loves him, nor to hurt her mother but rather, she suffers a trauma and in her head, in her imaginary world she believes that her mother agrees to share men with her (It is crazy considering that Laura, does not know about her daughter's affair with her boyfriend). I didn't understand when she said this but by the end it all made sense and it was really creepy. You can clearly see the mental havoc they both have because of that common past that haunts them where Florencia's stepfather "took his own life". Don't be fooled, nothing is what it seems in this episode and as the plot progresses, you will discover why everything happened. The performances of both women are great and let you see how bad they are in the head, well, more Florencia than Laura since Laura, shows a maturity according to her age but you can see that she suffers from severe depression and deadly guilt. Laura's mistake was to let herself be carried away by her feelings for someone much younger than her. Florencia's is another level. It's bordering on psychopathic and Maxi, when he realizes this, wants to run away from that love trio. Although, at a certain point, I can empathize with Florencia since she, went through a lot and that mental disorder, instead of being treated, got worse.

On the other hand, we have Maxi. From the beginning, he screwed up since he knew that a man died in that house under strange circumstances and he still got into the lion's den. It perfectly demonstrates how at 23 years old we are still half-witted and are driven by our sexual instincts rather than by reason. This was the mistake that cost Maxi his life. When he wanted to leave, it was too late.

Para empezar, quiero decir que el capitulo estuvo muy bueno. Mantuvo el misterio de lo que realmente pasaba. Al principio crees que ambas mujeres se enfrentarán a muerte pero, es algo mas profundo que eso. Hay toda una maraña de secretos y traumas detrás de estas dos mujeres que no te esperas (Bueno en parte si, porque dan destellos de lo que ocurrió en su casa pero nunca te esperas ese final). Al menos yo , la primera vez que lo vi, creí que matarían a Maxi por haber jugado con ambas. El factor sorpresa de este episodio le dió el toque para convertirse en uno de los mejores de la serie.

Otro de los factores que lo hacen uno de los mejores, es la profundidad del tema ya que no es la típica historia cliché del triángulo amoroso. Florencia, no está con Maxi porque lo ame, ni para dañar a su madre sino que mas bien, ella sufre un trauma y en su cabeza , en su mundo imaginario cree que su madre esta de acuerdo en compartir los hombres con ella (Es una locura mas teniendo en cuenta que Laura, no sabe del romance de su hija con su novio). Yo no entendí cuando ella dijo esto pero al final todo cobró sentido y fue realmente espeluznante. Se nota a leguas, los estragos mentales que ambas poseen por ese pasado en común que las persigue donde el padrastro de Florencia "se quitó la vida". No te dejes engañar, nada es lo que parece en este episodio y a medida que avanza la trama, descubrirás porque pasó todo lo que pasó. Las actuaciones de ambas mujeres es genial y deja entrever lo mal que están de la cabeza, bueno, mas Florencia que Laura ya que Laura, demuestra una madurez acorde a su edad pero se nota que sufre de una severa depresión y culpa mortal. El error de Laura, fue dejarse llevar por los sentimientos hacia alguien mucho mas joven que ella. Lo de Florencia, es otro nivel. Es rozando lo psicópata y Maxi, cuando se da cuenta de esto, quiere huir de ese trio amoroso. Aunque, en cierto punto, puedo empatizar con Florencia ya que ella , paso por mucho y ese trastorno mental, en vez de tratarse, se fue agravando.

Por otro lado, tenemos a Maxi. Desde el principio, metió la pata ya que el sabia que un hombre murió en esa casa en extrañas circunstancias e igual, se metió a la boca del lobo. Demuestra perfectamente como a los 23 años aún estamos medios pen**os y nos dejamos llevar por los instintos sexuales mas que por la razón. Este fue el error que le costó la vida a Maxi. Cuando quiso irse, ya era demasiado tarde.

Finally, I highlight Laura who, even with her shortcomings, always chooses her daughter above all else. This is the part that I find touching, so to speak. Laura, although late, realized that it was a mistake to take Maxi to the house and ended it. At this point, everything seemed to have a good ending for Maxi but it was too late, the bomb exploded and with everything. He was already terrified and just wanted to run away but as I said, he who plays with fire gets burned and he paid with his life.

We know he was an inexperienced boy being so young and didn't deserve such a cruel fate but well, that's how it happened and the ending is almost poetic how a mother's love goes through everything until the end even though her daughter hurt her deeply.
I loved how they played with all these emotions and the depth of the episode itself as it is not flat and everything develops in a correct and entertaining way to watch.

I guess they wanted to cover the identity of those who went out or just fiction, although it is mentioned that in reality, it is not known who killed Maxi.

As here nothing is what it seems and you do not know who is victim, executioner or both, with this surprise factor, the depth of the plot, the progressive development of events and the characters very well interpreted, I give it a 9/10. I totally recommend it, too bad it doesn't compare with the real case. Greetings and thanks for reading.

Por último, destaco a Laura que aun con sus falencias, siempre elige a su hija por sobre todo. Esta es la parte que me parece conmovedora , por así decirlo. Laura, aunque tarde, se dio cuenta que fue un error llevar a Maxi a la casa y lo termino. A este punto, todo parecía tener un final bien para Maxi pero ya era demasiado tarde, la bomba exploto y con todo. El, estaba aterrado ya y solo quería huir pero como dije, el que juega con fuego se quema y el, pagó con su vida.

Sabemos que el era un chico inexperto al ser tan joven y no merecía tan cruel destino pero bueno, así paso y el final, es casi poético el como el amor de una madre, traspasa todo hasta el final a pesar de que su hija, la daño profundamente.
Me encantó como jugaron con todas estas emociones y la profundidad del episodio en si ya que no es plano y todo se va desarrollando de forma correcta y entretenida de ver.

Del caso real , no encontré nada. supongo que quisieron cubrir La identidad de los que salieron o simplemente sea ficción aunque se menciona que en la realidad, no se sabe quien mato a Maxi.

Como aquí nada es lo que parece y no sabes quien es victima, verdugo o ambos, con este factor sorpresa, la profundidad de la trama, el desarrollo progresivo de los eventos y los personajes muy bien interpretados, le doy un 9/10. Lo recomiendo totalmente, lastima no compare con el caso real. Saludos y gracias por leerme.
