I hope you all are doing fine. A few days back I shared the movie review of the lords of the rings and today I am going to share review of "Hobbit" which is connected to the lord of the rings in a sense that it shows events which happened 60 years before the lord of the rings movie events took place. The movie is split into three parts

This movie series include some epic adventures portraying bilbo baggins as protagonist who was a bit reluctant to set off his journey ending up the main character of the whole movie.
plot overview
The wizard gandalf pays visit to his old friend Bilbo baggins and asks him to join the company of a dwarves group who are on a mission to reclaim the land of their lord thorin oakenshield. The land was guarded by a gigantic beast named as smaug who is shown as a dragon. In this quest Bilbo encounters many dangers during which he finds a ring from a mysterious golum.
The ring becomes really helpful for him in his quest and when the company reaches the mountains, it was Bilbo who helps them steal what they wanted to steal from dragon with the help of that ring. The dragon was lately killed by the bard of a nearby town when dwarves failed.
Once the beast was killed, all the armies gather to get the treasure on the mountains, dwarves, elves, men, orcs and so many other creatures testing the bonds of friendship, loyalty, love, and courage of our unexpected hero Bilbo

- Bilbo baggins
The protagonist who transforms from an introvert to am extraordinary extrovert. He gets a sense of how to be an independent soul in this journey and this is how he was able to save his ring from everyone till the end.
- Thorin oakenshield
The proud and determined leader of the dwarves company and the rightful heir of the mountain who was lately obsessed by the treasure causing so many conflicts but died in an heroic way.
- Gandalf
Ah, the wizard again but with a different role I think, he was always there for everyone with his strategic mind, courageous talks and wisdom.
- Smaug
The dragon who took over the treasure of the mountains but was killed by the bard with a last arrow of steal. The most loveable scene of mine from this movie series is the talk between smaug and Bilbo baggins.
strengths
- Scenery
The beautiful places shown in the movie are something really attractive for the viewers and keeps them engaged. I loved how they showed different environments for different creatures in the whole movie series, I loved the shire where all hobbits live.
- Action and adventure
This movie is full of action and adventure. When the company is on the move they face different challenging quests like facing the mighty orc, caught by the elves, attempts to kill the smaug, causing thrillers every second
- Character development
Same as the lord of the rings, like the character of frodo baggins developed, here the character of our protagonist developed a lot. Also the character development of thorin is shown like good-bad-good.

Criticism
To be honest, I can't find any single thing to criticise much expect somewhere I find that they tried to add extra length by adding some extra characters but then I realised they all had an important impact on their scenes that is why I denied this claim as to be criticism on this movie.
Conclusion
The hobbit is one of those movies which i will say is a must watch. I am not of the opinion to read a review of the movie before watching it because it has the best setting, with a lot of action and new adventures which might be not present in the lord of the rings. Also the battle scenes are more powerful in this series as compared to the lord of the rings (my opinion). So it is going to be 9.5/10 from my side.
