Accepting yourself for what you are and putting your physical, emotional and mental well-being first and loving, cherishing yourself regardless of anything is the best.
When you place yourself in high self-esteem you are more likely to choose things that nurture your well-being and serve you well and this happens because you love yourself.
Self-love means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others and not settling for less than you deserve. Self-love motivates you to make healthy choices in life and you can achieve self-love by not comparing yourself with others, letting go of toxic people in your life, trusting yourself to make good decisions for yourselves, and taking every opportunity life presents or create your own and always put yourself first.
Some people think self-love is selfish but it’s not because it’s essential and it’s good because if you love yourself more it’s beneficial to everyone around you because you will feel better, have more nice opportunities and your relationship with others will improve.
For those falling for people who don’t treat them right or are not available to show them love the best thing you can do is to love yourself more.
Lucille Ball said love yourself first and everything else falls in line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in life.
You can’t hate yourself or not value yourself and expect people to show you love. No, the love must come from you first, and then others' love will follow. Self-awareness, self-worth, self-esteem, and self-care are what comprise self-love. If one is missing then you do not entirely have self-love.
If you are struggling with self love always look for something that is beautiful in you, your strength and the positive part of you and know that your opinion matters in your life then that will boost the love you have for yourself.
