An edible mushroom which I've just foraged in the neighborhood. Such a pleasure to find a useful while leisure walking around!
It is Agaricus campestris aka a meadow champignone. It grows fast across the warm season and quite tasty, can be eaten raw. I do fry it along with potatoes and onions--this is a quick and simple meal.
