Photography | Mushrooms for Thursday

Hello all friends in the Fungi Lover community, may you always be healthy and happy...

There are several types of mushrooms that grow in the area where I live, especially where I have a humid climate. And this mushroom is one that I often find. This fungus is common to grow on tree trunks that have died.

Physically, this mushroom is yellowish white and no more than five centimeters high with a petal diameter no more than its height. From the closest reference, this fungus has the Latin name Polyporus melanopus and belongs to the genus Polyporus Source.
