Hello fungi lovers, again another week contributing my latest find, in one of my recent outings in search of mushrooms.
A few days ago when I came from walking with my dog maiden, I noticed that in one of the trees on the sidewalk, many mushrooms had been born, practically the trunk was flooded and I went to observe.
I was able to take some pictures of the numerous groups of mushrooms that surrounded the entire tree, apparently it is a species called trametes versicolor.
Its groupings are numerous and varied, from less to greater number, shape and size, it is brown in color and lacks a foot, the hat is glued to the trunk and has lines that run throughout the hat from dark brown to light yellow.
In the photograph on the left you can see how much of the tree has been infested by the numerous formations of mushrooms. In the shot on the right I made a close-up where you can see how together they are born and their curious lines on the hat.
From what I understand, this mushroom can be found globally in China, it is well known and is also used in medicine to treat immunotherapy.
