The mother I would like to be, I am and I want to be
Hello Hello
However, before becoming parents we believe that we can handle everything, so you begin to criticize other parents for how they raise their children, so the healthiest thing to do is turn a deaf ear and be your best version. Still, here my analysis and I hope I don't get scratched.
We start:
What kind of mother would you like to be?
I would have liked to be a more dedicated mother, with better nutritional care and improved routines, but I was never organized in that sense or at least like many people, at first when my son was a baby, he took care of him more than me, everything was careful and routine, but that changed a lot since I didn't have my dad around.
Of course, I did something and he helped me with other things, while right now I am alone and with so many things that I have to face I get tired and overwhelmed, I ended up being a disaster but I don't change my peace for anything, however if I would have liked stay as dedicated as I once was.
What kind of father are you really?
I already mentioned in the previous answer, I am a mother who pays attention to my son, I fulfill his activities as much as I can, I am not so organized and I like to sleep during the day, while I am awake at night, my son has copied that from my.
I'm one of the moms who scolds because he moves and breathes, especially if I'm loaded with stress. Although César is a calm child, when I'm frustrated, I often can't stand a lot of noise or disorder around me.
I give César the 3 meals and snacks, I have his clothes arranged, his homework many times a day and many absences at school and karate, lately due to illness or other times we go more often, but always up to date with what is needed in classes and karate. Bad cooking and a lot of junk food that is not good for either of them.
How are you working to become the version you want your children to be as a parent?
It is not a job, it is setting an example that you are human, that you feel, suffer and live just like everyone else, since there are days of being the mother that he needs, I am also the accomplice who takes him out to celebrate.
When César was born, my life changed completely and I thank him for that, because I was very messy, it hasn't gone away, but I improved a lot. Teaching him to be a better man, to respect people, and helping him with his autism, I think we're doing just fine.
Between the two of us we help each other to be better, there is no doubt about that.
